The DC/Marvel Rematch You Want

For all you literary minded geniuses out there; this thread is not for you. I think you'll find your style under the "market share report". Oh, yeah, I hear there's a great literary surveys class at the local junior college. Now, for all of you out there who actually read comics for the fun of it and mentally indulge this subject on occasion; what rematch do you want to see between Marvel and DC?? Any DC haters out there wanna see Supersilliousness, excuse me, I mean Superman get his little red and blue leotards blown off by Thor? The Surfer? Anyone else out there besides me think the Silver Surfer/Superman team up was a subtle concession by DC that Surfy is actually more powerful than the man of steel? Talk amongst yourselves...

That whole weakness to magic thing has been blown outta proportion really. I mean, I'm sure a God blast from pre disassembled Thor would hurt him terribly, much like it would say...the Hulk. But his natural invulnerability would still work. Same way he was able to survive those bolts of magic lightening from Captain Marvel in Kingdom Come. One of those hit anybody else, they would have died. He took at least ten strikes and still had enough leftover to survive a nuke designed to kill Superheroes without any protection. Now, if Thor broke out the Blood Axe, then Supes would be screwed.

But that's beside the point. The Current Thor has the Odinforce (Or Thorforce if you will) and he'd own Supes, the Hulk, and just about anybody else this side of Galactis.

I'd love to see Iron Man and Green Lantern go at it, as well as Flash and ultimate Quick Silver. And yes, I do think SS and Supes teaming up from the bat was DC's way of saying "yes, there is a Marvel character that can beat Supes but you'd never see it happen!"

it's strange people are happy to see spiderman taking out superboy, as if electricity would even phase him...

I'd quite like to see the whole fight between superman and juggernaut actually.

I'd also like to see the silver surfer against another green latern, or the whole corps.

By "more convincing" you mean "remotely convincing at all," right? Which the JLA/Avengers version was totally not. I have no problem with Superman beating Thor, but I'd like to at least see it done in a way that makes sense and doesn't have Thor forgetting 90% of his powers.
