if were talking show runner no but workers. the actor said alot of the people behind the scenes on their own shows were there for this on video. so they are using some of the same people. just not the boss's creators of their own shows.


lol that's just messed up. and weird. interesting but weird. and I'm not how the lot of the audience would take that.

Some but not all.

I think it's premature to even think or say they know they made mistakes in season 1 of Iron Fist, they know what they did wrong and they are working hard to fix them. The results of the entirety of Defenders and season 2 will say for certain.

Yeah, but I was just saying how I wondered if they had it all mapped out for the most part? They had to have been written at roughly the same time, and even though it's different writers/showrunner, don't you think they would have consulted with each other the same way the MCU directors do to ensure everything kinda fits together?

consult , yes but them having writers and done this all at the same time? Not necessarily especially with them even getting cast and directors and them mention to news out lets when those people came on the scene.... it's not always the case.

sadly the only people that does that is JMS of sense 8 or josh wheadon.

zenith16, no offense, but it would help if you cleaned things up a little bit with your typing. I only say that constructively because it's really hard to decipher and read what you are saying in your posts sometimes. I get that English is probably your second language, but your posts just get incredibly garbled a lot.

Marco Ramirez talked about Jeph Loeb having a lot of things in these shows mapped out in his head. I'm not sure how meticulously he mapped specific things out regarding the changing personality dynamics.

My thought was Scott Buck didn't know the best idea on how to exploit the best parts of Danny Rand and the Iron Fist character.

I think making Danny young and naive makes sense. But his desire for vengeance should also be part of his immaturity and naivete. As in, he abandoned his post as Iron Fist specifically because he was being young, naive, and immature in his desire for answers and revenge.

In the comics, when Danny finally came face to face with the object of his rage, and he sees Meachum as this pathetic invalid, that was enough to make him let go of his hate. Meachum was waiting for Danny to find and kill him and put him out of his misery.

I think season 1 basically should've been Danny being young, naive and stupid. He's on a warpath for revenge, but he doesn't truly get it. He doesn't get that his desire for vengeance is what's keeping him from being the true Iron Fist, and being the Iron Fist means he has to let go of his anger and his hatred.

it's not. it that I have bad internet that f up with certain e-mails and I don't like taking chance any more cause of that none sense . Cause even when I correct it doesn 't come here . I stated befor I'm not the perfect speller. but some word don't come together right. how ever when do bother to do that at time's there's some new complication which I ever recorded it with cam and show you'd be in shock about it. last night really bugged me when it happened when I was doing so and had to re elaborate to pixen. I wouldn't have so mad last night if certain didn't happen I already have enough problems as it is ith making sure trying to be clear with people as it is . but I take more time then usual some new find's a way weather people believe it or not .

It's not just your spelling. It's your syntax and grammar.

lt is I've been doing this since the first computers believe it or not before the web was thing. or not but as said if I had tape for the weirdness that happen's on my end. oy.

as I said what happen on my end is there alot of or freezing and it screwed up with spell check and other part of the correct process. I get certain e-mail and it goes bonkers.
Also if you met in person in person that I sound like new yorker and the french people have always had issues with anyone they call an anglophone 's

which what they call english people and have been pushing for sepration from canada.

I recall Finn Jones pushing the idea that Danny becomes a completely different character at the end of the show [Defenders] and he had no reference or idea of what a superhero was beforehand. I guess meaning Danny didn't realize he could be a superhero until Defenders.

My problem with that is that Danny grew up in a world where people like Captain America already existed. Not to mention, he's returned to a world where superheroes exist, and he surely would've heard about the incident and the Avengers. I think in season 1, it would've made more sense if he came to the realization that rather than just taking revenge he could be a hero for New York City.

Maybe, but after a while it get's old, cause people catch on. it's as vile said they or Scott Buck didn't know the best idea or way on how to exploit the best parts of Danny Rand and the Iron Fist character. and if some are the type to notice and it's been happening with the dc tv show side as well a lot with their shows, fan's will mention it. there are thing's I notice and did drop arrow never went back.

And then playing the denial thing doesn't help. it's just another reason to take note of that person or people that do that to the show and want them off or drop the show if it gets worse.

Please don't take what he said in that way. He just means you should wait and see it in its entirety or wait for the series to be completed and the reviewer's final judgment(well, I'm saying that part ) added with your own thought on the series after you've seen it all. you're the final judge of it. right now it's still early stages. it's too soon to have worries.

What reviews have you been reading? Pretty much EVERYTHING I've read has said nothing but positive things with the exception that it suffers from the same slow burn that all the Netflix shows have had when they get bogged down in exposition. If that's enough to make you not enjoy the shows I understand. They do have a habit of overexplaining everything. Instead of show or tell, they're kinda show then tell just to make damn sure you didn't miss anything. What other negative things have been said just out of curiosity?

Well from what I've read, they actually used Danny's naivety as a spring board for the dark characters to play off of. It makes a lot of sense if you think about it. So...Iron Fist HAD to suck for the Defenders to actually be good.

Umm...Danny's naivete is one of the highlights of the IF series imo. Those lighthearted, more optimistic scenes, the moments with Jeri, the boardroom scenes work because he *is* young and hadn't been exposed to the harsh, dark realities of the world he returned to. That is one aspect of the character that makes him likable to me. It's not mere coincidence that Marco and the writers would play up his naivete against the older, wiser, more cynical Defenders...it actually makes their dynamic more interesting. It's one of the reasons I look forward to seeing Luke and Danny together.

I see now section's of the hype are being destroyed the cause of my personal problem which I've been struggling for a while cause I can't get a hold of either my spelling or sentence making. And I sound like the greatest evil again cause of it.

Well, this is a good enough a reason as any if someone tries to nominate me again when I said no thanks. I 'm not right for an thing like that. since I do more harm than good. thanks for pointing this out.

I'm apologize about that. I'm just hoping this is good but I'm not assuming it will be.

Like a lot of reviews of things, people take a magnifying glass to anything that's bad and don't praise/talk about the stuff that they did like and that was what I was trying to make a point about.

We all have different opinions though about what we consider is good and what is not good. I just hate how quickly some people can jump to negative conclusions before actually seeing things.
