As much as I enjoy the Netflix shows, I'm not going to pretend that I'm happy about how much they hate the costumes.

Now why can't Luke Cage always look like that with the yellow T-shirt and blue jeans? Is he only going to appear that way for the publicity photos? He's got to wear it in the series.

And I really hope Iron Fist isn't just going to dress like that.

And I really hope Iron Fist isn't just going to dress like that.

If he wore just yellow tops, that'd be weird. He has worn it a couple times during his show though.

As for Iron Fist, there's no reason for him to be in costume here as Matt isn't. Also, why would they show it here first when it'd make more sense for it to be shown right before his show gets released.

Daredevil's proto costume could easily have been the Iron Fist costume if recoloured. The mask DD wore was practically the Iron Fist mask. IF could've had a dark green version of that with a yellow mask.

And if ninjas see it necessary to wear some kind of outfit, then why can't Iron Fist?

If you recall Luke was basically in HIDING which is why he wore the hoodie.
I'm sure once the Defenders is Out there, he'll be in the tee shirts more than the hoodie
