Hmm... pretty big week here. It still feels dirty buying Amazing Spider-Man but even dirtier actually having it on my pull list. Brrrrrrr! I think for me, despite the crappiness of what's become of the character, I'm growing to like Phil as the Hobgoblin and I'm hoping it isn't a quick defeat but an ending that leads to more down the road. Deadpool 31 I'm getting for the Curse of the Mutants tie-in since I enjoyed last issue's tie-in. I won't get anymore beyond this issue though.

Daredevil: Reborn is only 4 issues?! Sweet! I was expecting a long drawn out 6 issue deal but this is quick. Now the only quesiton is how will sales be on Black Panther and will DD get a new title or pick back up on that one.

I'm also glad to see Emerald Warriors down to $2.99, which is a more suiting price for the content. And this is Cornell's last Batman & Robin which is only one step away from Tomasi, which is what I've been looking forward too.

All in all good week. I'm excited.

I imagine a reprint of several AVENGERS ACADEMY issues is here because the title itself is running late. Issue 7 was about two weeks behind schedule and we may be lucky if issue 8 ships in January at all (it was originally solicited for 1/5/11). I guess Tom Raney's shift to full time artist happened sooner than anticipated, with McKone just doing covers (or maybe working on issue 9 or 10 or whatever).
