Transformers The Dinobots.

I loved them. The episodes with them being built, where they rush to save the Autobots, the other one where they fight Optimus, they were awesome. Grimlock and Snarl were my favourite autobots, besides Optmius.

I hate that they are not in the movie. I hope they are in some sequels. Dinobots are essential to the G1, thats just how it is. They are the autobots most powerfull weapons and beats the living crap out of most other transformers.

Still like them. I think for me they were the coolest Transformers.

Snarl is still my favorite and I still have the toy.

I always wanted the grimlock figure, but never got it

Yeah, me too. It was always sold out in all the toy stores. But a friend of mine had it, I was so jealous, but hey at least I got to play with it.

Anyways, it would be cool to have the Dinobots in the movie, except for Prime and Megatron they were always my favourites. But since this movie will be grounded in reality and more about a boy and his first car and advertising for the US military then Dinobots are out. Damn shame really, but I never thought that it would be possible to see them anyway.

In the cartoons they were always very powerful and Grimlock's leadership in the comics rivaled only Optimus's. I didn't like them in the 1986 movie very much, Devastator pretty much wiped the floor with them.

But to be fair, the Dinobots have never handled Devastator too well. In Heavy Metal War (first appearance of Constructicons/Devastator) the Dinobots (**with Snarl there**) could only hold him off and fight to a stalemate.

I still say they dont have to be dinosaures. I dont want to see them fed up on screen I want their War Within modes. Tank Grimlock was a badass.

i agree.Grimlock was freaking hugh in the War Within comics.i actually perfer most of the War Within alt.modes than the G1(earth) modes especially Ironhides.

I don't think anybody thinks you're trolling. But I am kind of upset that there aren't any random pics of The Alba floating around here besides your avatar...wait...nevermind, this isn't Community. ;)

Hehe, FF must have been the most frustrating movie I ever saw. Here we had Jessica Alba undressing and getting completely naked, but bein INVISIBLE. That teasing little..... :)

Back on topic, I hope they bring in the Dinobots if there is a sequel. And I prefer them as dinosaur, not some freakin tank. There's enough tanks in TF already, robot dinosaurs would be way cooler

heh I remember when I was like 12, my parents got me the pteradactyl one, I think the name was like Swoop or something (this is 18 years ago so forgive me if I forgot), but that was like the greatest present of my life. LOL Sort of lost interest in them a few years later, but this brings back some great memories  I'll definitely check out the film

lol...probably the closest you'll get to seeing her nude since she's Miss "I will never do nudity".

I would love to see Dinobots in the sequel. I think part of what made the Dinobots successful in G1 was the fact that they did not ape Voltron and form into one giant robot such as Devastator, Bruticus, Superion, etc. In not doing that they each maintained their individuality.

Yeah, I'd have to agree there. They'd lose some of their magic if they became humdrum vehicles, for me at least. Although Sludge (another great name) would have to go for something a little more compact, I think. Not to mention smaller.

Kids liked them. I know I did but if you were to go to a transformers toy forum and ask whether anyone would like for these toys to be rereleased as either g1 or masterpiece figures you might get 3 replies and only 1 of them will actually be about the thread. It's weird I thought the dinobots were very popular as toys and characters.

From my experience of the years in TF Forums...everyone used to want the Dinobots...at least Grimlock. But over the last while those thoughts have died off...a lot, I'd assume, is because of how poorly many of the re-issues did (due to over-pricing and limited Toys R Us exclusive release). Only certain characters did exceptionally well as the re-issues because of the TRU exclusive thing.

Nah, slag like the ****e at No.15 who shags the milkman.

HELLLL YEAAH! Grim lock was the best Autobot ever, Thinks about it. 1. He was a T-Rex 2. He was a gangsta ass transformer what kinda bot would not listen to his crew leader (optimus) and when he disagree with the leader put two shots straight to his chest. with out thinking twice ( In Grim lock voice) "Me Grim-lock dont like the autobots.. Me grim lock say autobots are BAD!" Zapp Zapp" (optimus layed out on the floor) now thats what i call one kick @$$ crew member
