Jackie Chan Says He is in The Expendables 3
http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=98159

With the first film earning $274.5 million and the second $300.4 million at theaters worldwide, it is almost guaranteed that Lionsgate will be making The Expendables 3 and it sounds like they have a big addition for the third installment lined up.

Talking at a press conference for CZ12 in Kuala Lumpur, Jackie Chan said he is on board. "Sly had invited me to be in 'Expendables 2' but I was too busy filming 'CZ12' and couldn't make a commitment to the film. But he did extend his invitation to the third movie, which I agreed on the condition that I will be appearing as more than just a minor role with a few scenes."

He added that he hoped the third installment of the franchise would run along the lines of a 'buddy-buddy' movie should Chan be starring in it, to which Sylvester Stallone obliged.

Chan said he also hopes to be reteaming with his "Rush Hour" co-star Chris Tucker soon. The script they are currently working with is for a movie with the title Skip Tracer, but the actor said it could be turned into Rush Hour 4.

"The script is currently viewed by Chris Tucker," he said. "Personally, I feel that if he were to pick it up, it would be better if we turned it into 'Rush Hour 4,' but I do think that three movies for the franchise is a perfect ending. It would be better to start a new buddy movie with someone new."
.

That made me super excited for The Expendables 3 now. And I am drooling about that new Jackie Chan/Chris Tucker film, whatever it turns out to be.

I am surprised that Hogan and Mt T haven't been asked. Or least Weathers and T that way there would be a full Rocky Reunion.

I think Weathers and Stallone may have had a falling out over Rocky Balboa. Same with Mr. T, however I am not sure about that.

Maybe Jackie can use this opportunity to shed his lifelong rule of never playing a villain.

Last I knew Hogan was not an Enemy Of Stallone for he helped introduct Hogan In The WWE HOF

In all seriousness though would like to see Dirty Harry as maybe there original Commander of Ross and Wrench.

I can't find words for how great and cool it is now that Chan is onboard.
Now Stallone has to make sure that Mr T, Hulk Hogan, Wesley Snipes, Steven Segal and others are in too.

Wesley Snipes was in prison (tax evasion) for the last two movies. He'll be out when this one starts shooting.

He wasn't in prison for the first. But he couldn't play Hale Caesar because of his impending conviction.

I just feel like after a while, the novelty of using 'famous action stars from year's past' will wear off.

^I think thats why they wont make more than 3, after 2 did worse than 1 domestically, it could already be wearing off, so I think 3 will be the limit, I just hope they get Snipes in this one.

Maybe as the bad guy, he was awesome in Demolition Man.

You, dude love and myself must adopt Caribbean skeletal headdresses and draw a magical white line in black sand and chant the mystical prayer that this does indeed happen.
