No reason that we can't discuss part 3 now that we know it has all but been greenlit. Bring it on.
Cage, Eastwood, Ford and Snipes Sought for The Expendables 3

Although The Expendables 2 doesn't hit theaters until this weekend, producer Avi Lerner already has his sights set on a third ensemble adventure and revealed to Total Film who he'd like to see join the team.
Weve approached Clint Eastwood to be one of the guys," he tells the outlet. "Weve got a character in mind for him. Were talking to Harrison Ford. Wesley Snipes when he comes back from prison... [W]eve got Nicolas Cage to play [one of the characters]...And were going to bring Mickey Rourke back, if he wont be too crazy. I like Mickey. And of course, all the existing stars [will return]
Assuming everyone says yes, the new talents would theoretically join Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Chuck Norris, Randy Couture, Terry Crews, Liam Hemsworth, Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
It is unclear whether or not director Simon West will be back, though the seemingly confirmed inclusion of Cage makes that a likely possiblity. Cage and West worked together on West's debut feature, Con Air and recently reteamed for Stolen, which will hit theaters on September 14th.
