He HAS to have the mullet though, it's not the same without it.

This really is the dancing with the stars of action films.
If they had better direction(and overall executive production) this series would have Fast and Furious momentum.

A dude would show up in the stinger and people would go nuts. Sadly, Stallone and co can't quite modernize the sensibilities for our audience. And the older(much older) audience can only support the film so much. You would think Statham was some gigantic action star with the way the audience [BLACKOUT]reacted at his reveal at the end of a recent film.[/BLACKOUT] Notice the type of "reaction" he get's in these films

The big "car chases" in these films. Cool I suppose but then you look at whatJustin Lin's does, great execution but also very strong context. He has one authoritative man say, "Don't let these people get into the cars". That sort of thing messes with the audiences head, and has them thinking an event about to happen. People watched fast 5 teaming at the mouth for the rock and vin's confrontation. Little things.

I hope Wesley has some good moments but other than that, I'm not looking forward to this until they set some things straight. For starters, how's about you actually kill of people like the title implies. At the very least this will prevent the 4th installment from having 40 leads. If Rourke isn't coming back, why........

Secondly, not every joke has to be about masculine undertones, again fast 5.

Come on, man, if you went in front of the 6 main Expendables and asked, "Who wants to wear the skin tight leather costume," I think we all know the guy who'll step forward in a heartbeat.

Although Gibson has been a complete ass the last few years, I'm still a fan of his acting and directing. Great to hear he'll be in this.

I still wish Kurt Russell never turned down these movies. He's one of my favorite actors and would have been cool to see him in these films.

I know people have brought up Carl Weathers in the past but I still think it would be cool if he was a villain along side Gibson. He could have a fight scene with Lundgren(Rocky IV ).

Following the news that Arnold Schwarzenegger is returning as the Terminator in Terminator 5, which he says will start filming in January, comes word that the actor will return for The Expendables 3 as well. TheArnoldFans is attending a summit with Schwarzenegger and says:

"Not only did Arnold confirm to TheArnoldFans that he will be in Expendables 3, he added that he's going to start filming in August in Los Angeles!"

Lionsgate has a set an August 15, 2014 release date for The Expendables 3, which will again star Sylvester Stallone and has Jackie Chan, Wesley Snipes, Nicolas Cage and Milla Jovovich in advanced negotiations to join him.

Tom Cruise may have done dissapointing movies, and War of the Worlds is one of them, but they sure weren't borderline DTV movies like The Expendables franchise is. I really think both movies are a complete waste of talent, and the third one is probably going to be in the same mold.
