Saw the GL footage. I liked the new footage. Way better than the meh trailer. But, I still have my worries about it falling into the age old trap of 3rd act let downs. But, this gave me more confidence in the project.

I agree that it does, but I like a lot of where the story is going. But, again...I do some potential for 3rd act let down given the story of the film.

I really hope this is the rise of Hal and the fall of Sinestro.

I think that is probably next movie. I don't see Sinestro becoming full bad yet. Mybe hinted at, but I don't expect him to fall all the way yet.

It does, which is why I am concerned about a 3rd act letdown. Ultra powerful bad guys like this in movies tend to be easily defeated in stupid ways.

And both had let down climaxes to their fights. IM2 more so than IM1. At least in IM1, the fight between Iron Man and Iron Monger was awesome up until his defeat. IM2, the fight was brief and ended poorly. Love both movies, but that is one place where TIH was easily stronger.
