I think GL will make BB esque BO. That's my early prediction. Being released in June will hurt it a bit. I think FC will make more (since X-Men is more established than GL) and I see Thor and Cap being hits. GL I am the least confident about given the month. Question is, if it makes BB type money, is that enough to greenlight a sequel?

I disagree with you on the footage being bad, though. Trailer 1 was meh. This footage was a lot better.

I want GL to do well, but I don't think non-geeks know enough about him, I don't think the trailers are showing enough to pull in the non-geeks, and I think the cartoony CGI will put off the non-geeks who aren't pulled in because it's GL. I wish it looked better.

I might even pass on it because of lack of money, I don't want to through money at a movie that does look like it'll rock my world. I think reviews are really what will get me to see it in the cinema in the end.

I see almost everything in the summer, so I will be seeing it. Now, repeat viewings I have to be selective of now, since I have less days off and such now and less money to throw around. I'd say right now, I prob see Cap and Thor 2nd times. Maybe Potter also. Outside that, prob seeing this once.

The hype for Thor alone puts it high on my estimates. But I personally thin Captain America looks like a better movie but I don't know if that'll translate in earnings, the world does hate America at the moment with all it's wars.
