A few videos from the cast and crew with some interesting information

https://www.youtube.com/user/flickeringmyth/videos

Sue and Victor were both orphans that were found by Franklin at a young age (but Victor is "broken"), Sue comes from Kosovo.

Sounds like my theory is right and they changed Ben's size and history so that he basically wants the power he gets, he wants to be big and strong and tough. Kate Mara also says that her powers are "very specific" which again make me think I am right in that they intend to have it that with all four characters there is some sort of psychological reason behind the powers they all get, that in some way each kind of wants the powers they each get.

So, the New Zealand release date has been pushed to the 6th? I can swear it was the 31th of July couple of days ago. I guess they are really desperate to hide the reactions until the last day...

They usually do these early international release dates to garner good buzz for the rest of us, but they don't want that **** backfiring now.

The Sue character would be old enough to have been a little kid during the end of the Yugoslavian war, so I guess her parents were killed in it and it all left here traumatised, possibly why she has a psychological desire to hide.

This is why the whole adoption angle is a massive heap of crap. They could have just had them be blood relations and skip hack writing like this, but instead they do things like this for their "Vision".

It looks like a bunch of countries had their dates moved forward in April, then moved back a month later without Fox bothering to update their lists (even the lists on their FB site still shows the old dates).

So basically Johnny and Victor are as much siblings as Johnny and Sue are?!

Just when you think this thing can't suck any harder, it sucks a bowling ball through a garden hose.

:cmad:

Hard to say but Victor was found in an orphanage and Sue was adopted at a young age and comes from Kosovo. So it looks they they were both taken in by Franklin when they were young and Victor could be an unofficial member of the family.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's a twist where we learn that Sue and Victor are actually blood related.

Them interviews are better than probably all the footage I've seen tbh

Kinberg said the Baxter institute offers kids with no direction (inc. ophans) that are smart somewhere to go, so Victor's probably one of the many taken into the Baxter institute

So how long after this bombs on opening weekend will Trank and MBJ wait to start making the "It failed because of racism" statements we're expecting.

My bet is they'll start coming 2 weeks after release.

I figure we'll see a few of the usual quotes:

"The hardcore basement-dweller fans couldn't let the material grow up."

"It was too bold for modern audiences. One day people will look back on it as ahead of its time."

"What Josh Trank wanted to do was different and daring, but Fox wanted to water it down to be more like Avengers and squandered his unique masterpiece."

"Oh. I guess they didn't see it anyway."

I wouldn't hold my breath on that happening...however at the same time I also wouldn't be surprised if one of them says that.

I'll be waiting for the inevitable, "Which 2015 CBM was the best?" thread and fans saying, even though it wasn't as good as I was hoping, I still enjoyed it more than AOU and Ant-Man. :o

I'd agree with that.

Maybe the idea is that Reed's final thoughts are his arms aren't long enough to save Victor from falling into the burning lava pit.

I doubt anyone will even remember this thing 2 weeks after release.

I'm trying to forget it now.

Seriously, when I come to this forum anymore, I feel like a ghost that wanders through a room out of habit because that's what he did when he was alive.

I have no interest in this film any more and I just want it to be over so we can see what happens next.

Ben was a huge Sylvester Stallone. He was thinking "I want to be Rocky."

LOL yeah it was around SDCC that Kibbell spoke on this.

http://www.denofgeek.com/movies/fan...tic-four-toby-kebbell-on-doctor-dooms-origins

he found a new father in Dr Storm, the father of Johnny and adoptive father of Sue. I kind of get adopted as well, in a fantastic performance by Reg E Cathey. And that’s Doom as we see him. He’s a computer technician, a computer scientist

Basically Fox can't seem to link the 2 Summers characters together as biological brothers but everyone in 4stic is related.

Maybe Reed is another unofficial sibling with Sue. :o
