The Flash TV series

found them.... and yes they were edited into movies :word:

Thanks. That's great to hear. I will keep a better look out for the VHS copies at used places then. I would like to have them.

Flash was always my favorite hero. My dad was a WWII vet and grew up in the early days of Flash Gordon. He bought me a Flash comic in the mid70s (thinking Flash Gordon) and that was it.

I was a Freshman in college when this series started and loved it. Some of my buds and I would always get together and watch when it came on. Taped a lot of the episodes and still have a few.

Thought it was pretty well done. It was getting really good at the end of season one. When he got the meth type drug sprayed in his face and his arm began vibrating I was like YES! - finally getting more of the comic book powers I was used to seeing.

Barry Allen was the Flash I grew up on. I also bought a few retro comics and became a big Jay G fan. Never been into the Wally Flash beyond Kid Flash.

I recently got this series and started watching it. It's fun. Thats what it should be and thats what it is. I'd have loved this if I'd seen it when I was 8. Shame theres only the one series. DC should get off their arses and get a new Flash series made.

i thought i was the only one who really still loved this show. i have the complete series on dvd Hamil was awesome as the trickster and would of been a fine live action joker.

Well hopefully they will green light the movie like they've been talking about for the last 6 years.

Just watched the episode 'Child's Play' and there's a scene in which Barry is walking his dog and they stroll by a movie theater that's showing Tim Burton's BATMAN!

And if you notice Superman is on the other side

^ Holy cow you're right, I wasn't that focused that I was doing house chores the first time so I re-watched that scene and yep the theater is playing Superman and Batman as a double feature, even a few bars on John Williams and Danny Elfman's themes were playing.

Nice gifs. Hopefully the new show will measure to my enjoyment of this one.

An interesting (nearly 30 min) retrospective/review of the show.

Wow. Awesome find! Too bad they didn't put any effort into the DVD extras. I'm sure there's some cool stuff like that to be found.
