So I just watched this movie again through my Netflix on Bluray after having not seen it in like 20 years. I have to say it was amazing! It was even better than I remember. I loved it enough that I started a thread on it. Anyone else seen it recently? The special effects more than anything really held up.

This film was the first to literally surprise me. The build up is great, and when you finally see the Fly, it's so scary. And the genius is that it's only on screen for like 20 minutes. The ending is still cemented in my brain. Awesome.

I love this movie. I actually really enjoy the sequel too. This movie is technically a remake and better than the original.

Haha, I didn't click the link. I was talking about the original. The original is still the best.

The second sucked and was completely uneccessary. The first is great, I love Goldblum's performance. And Brundlefly is one of the grossest things I have ever seen.

I haven't seen it in a long time but I used to love that film. I don't know if it's Cronenberg's best, Videodrome and The Dead Zone are also pretty awesome , but it certainly is Jeff Goldblum's best film imo.

Ive only seen this movie once, it is the most disgusting movie i have ever seen.

David Cronenberg did a hell of a job with this movie. :)

its a good movie. and it is gross.and i think the poster was fantastic.

i liked this from the sequel
