Btw, I'm REALLY disappointed of the delay of "Monster's, Inc". :( That's my favorite Pixar film (and I've LOVED every Pixar film so far, aside from "Cars" which was only "good").

Well its only delayed till later this year which is much better than the previously rumored 2011 delay.

Some more Alliance Blu-ray releases in Canada coming April 7th.

Boiler Room
Chasing Amy
Knockaround Guys
A Man Apart
Reindeer Games
Running Scared
Trainspotting

It seems from reports from some people the Blu-ray release of The Princess Bride also includes a DVD copy.

I have no idea how they decide TV seasons get released on Blu-ray. I think it is silly in the first place to release one later season and then have to wait for all of the rest it is a strategy that will keep me from buying TV shows on Blu-ray with the rare exception of like South Park which doesn't require viewing of previous seasons to enjoy a later one. I think I do remember hearing something about how Trey Parker and Matt Stone were working on remastering the older episodes of South Park so that it would actually benefit from an HD release but that could have just been a rumor.

yep, that's what's good about cartoons, there's no real history in their world, heh.

Check out the front & back cover artwork for the Batman 20th Anniversary edition.
http://www.dvdactive.com/news/releases/batman11.html

Title: Batman (IMDb)
Starring: Michael Keaton
Released: 19th May 2009
SRP: $34.99

Further Details:
Warner Home Video has officially announced a Blu-ray release of Batman which stars Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson. The 20th Anniversary edition will be available to own from the 19th May, and should retail at around $34.99. Extras will include commentary by Director Tim Burton, 3 Prince music videos, an On the Set with Bob Kane featurette, Shadows of the Bat: The Cinematic Saga of the Dark Knight Parts 1-3, a Beyond Batman Documentary Gallery, The Heroes and The Villains Profile Galleries, a Batman: The Complete Robin Storyboard Sequence, the theatrical trailer, and a digital copy of the film. On top of all that, the set will also include a 50-page premium hardcover book that includes original script pages, excerpts from the Batman Official Book of the Movie and the DC Comics comic book adaptation of the film.

Nice, but I will probably wait until the complete set comes down in price and then snatch them all up.

The first film is the only one I want. I would also like Returns, but I ain't buying the set for two movies.

Good looking out.

Yep I haven't imported a Blu-ray yet myself (even though I might do this myself considering the Burton movies are the only ones I am interested in) but it actually seems to be a lot more simple than you think. Just go to Amazon.uk and you can login with your US Amazon.com account and just order it through there. They actually have added a currency converter option at checkout which shows you how much you are paying in US dollars and Batman Returns comes out to be $23-$24 with shipping included so not that bad of a price at all. And it is region free to my knowledge so there shouldn't be any compatibility problems with your player.

Yeah, I've ordered through amazon UK before. Very simple.

Woot woot. Just got Punisher: Warzone in the mail today. Only paid $16.60. :)

Wal-Mart has some new cheap Blu Rays including:

The Mummy 14.95
The Mummy Returns 14.95
Disturbia 14.95
V For Vendetta 14.95
Ultimate Avengers 2 Pack 14.95
Twister 19.95

Nice prices. Amazon.com has the Ultimate Avengers Collection for $12.99 though.
