Fox usually has a bad track record with catalog releases but this one looks top notch and includes a DVD of the movie to boot. They also have a track record of slapping a $39.95 MSRP on new release catalog titles so $20 for The Princess Bride is an amazing deal.

Fox Reveals Anne Frank, Burn Notice, and More
In an early announcement to retailers, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment has revealed that they will bring 'The Diary of Anne Frank: 50th Anniversary Edition', 'Garfield's Pet Force', and 'Burn Notice: Season Two' to Blu-ray on June 16th, day-and-date with the DVD release. As these are early announcements, no technical specs have been announced at this time. Though, you can expect Fox to utilize 1080p AVC video accompanied by a DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack for these releases.

Well those are at that price because they have were literally some of the first Blu-ray releases ever and mediocre ones at that so I think they just have pretty much run their course. I hope they re-release The Punisher though the one Lionsgate has out now is garbage. I figured they would have done it with the release of Warzone but guess not.

Paramount's Oscar Winners/Nominees Get Blu-ray Dates
Paramount Home Entertainment has announced that they will bring the Academy Award-winning film 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button' on May 5th, day-and-date with the DVD release. Additionally, they will bring the Academy Award-nominated films 'Revolutionary Road' and 'Defiance' to Blu-ray on June 2nd, day-and-date with the DVD release.

Technical specs have not been announced at this time, but you can expect 1080p AVC video and 5.1 Dolby TrueHD audio for these releases. Special features have not been announced at this time.

Children of Men Blu-ray Bound
Alfonso Cuaron's Children of Men will make its Blu-ray Disc debut on May 26 after having previously been released exclusively in high definition on HD DVD.

The move to Blu-ray will give Children of Men a new 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track and likely the identical 1.85:1 1080p transfer as was seen on HD DVD.

U-Control will also carry forward from HD DVD with a new addition of BD-Live accessibility.

Cinderella Man Laces Up for Blu-ray
The Ron Howard boxing drama Cinderella Man staring Russell Crowe has been cleared for a Blu-ray Disc release on March 26. (MAY 26?)

Cinderella Man was previously available exclusively on HD DVD during the high-def format wars. This upcoming Blu-ray Disc release marks its first appearance on the winning format.

Tech specs include a 2.35:1 1080p transfer, likely identical to the HD DVD transfer, and a new 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio mix.

Bonus features are virtually identical to the HD DVD version with the exception of BD-Live functionality.

Blu-ray to Play on a Field of Dreams
If you win the format war, it will come. Universal's former HD DVD exclusive and hardball classic Field of Dreams starring Kevin Costner as a man who lures deceased baseball players to his property will make its way to Blu-ray Disc on May 26.

The Blu-ray version of Field of Dreams will closely mirror the HD DVD version with only a couple exceptions. Audio will be bumped up to 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio and BD-Live will be supported.

Other features include a 1.85:1 1080p transfer and the following extras.

The Criterion Collection in conjunction with Paramount Home Entertainment have announced the technical specs and special features for the upcoming Blu-ray release of 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button', which is due to hit store shelves on May 5th, day-and-date with the DVD release. The two-disc set will feature 1080p AVC video accompanied by a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack.

To my knowledge ever since Universal has gone Blu they have only been releasing new releases and HD DVD catchup titles. I think the only catalog title they have released so far that wasn't available on HD DVD was Street Fighter so I wouldn't hold your breath until they are done playing catchup...lol. They still have all of these to go through.
