Yes I can...computer is still an instrument like a drum set. You still have to put it together with tape or a flash disk. Music changes even Stevie used a drum machine and keyboard.

But Stevie didn't totally rely on the drum machine. And a keyboard is just an electric piano, right?

Take Usher's hit "Yeah", created by Lil John..... the same insipid, annoying computer beat thru the whole song. No changes in melody ...nothing.....


Believe me......classics willl still be played 40 years from when they were made. I don't think you'll see a Lil john Revue 40 years from now, like you see the Ohio Players doing.

A great move by ! This was a "pre- Nile Rogers" cut they sang. They were reeeeaallll young. The lead singer looked like she was 16.

Agreed. I also love his second album. My favorite of his was "Back At One". I tired of him constantly having hiphop guests on his albums and doing lame hiphop/R&B songs on otherwise great albums (i.e. "Anytime").
