The Good, The Bad and the Weird

I CANNOT recommend this movie enough. I just saw it last night, never heard of it before. It has a Hollywood-sized budget appearance. And a great soundtrack. Everything about the flick screams quality. It's now one of my favorite all-time action/adventure flicks right alongside Indiana Jones.

Obviously the director was inspired by old spaghetti westerns and it's obvious a lot of care was taken in the writing of the film, the soundtrack, the camera work and the actors chosen. I can't think of a bad thing to say about it.

Watch it. Stop reading this right now and go buy it or rent it off Netflix.

Its definitely one of the most entertaining western movie in recent years. Yes , the director loves Leone but he doesn't try to simply copy the movie (it borrows not only from The Good , The Bad and The Ugly but also from a Fistfull of Dollars)

Kim Ji Woon is one of the best asian directors out there. He leaps through genres without any difficulty. And Song Kang-ho is a brilliant actor.

I think it's being called "The Good, The Bad, The Weird". They dropped 'And' maybe to avoid a lawsuit. I that's why the movie has been delayed in America for so long: the title.

WOW just watched this on Netflix this is hands down one of the most entertaining and fun movies i think i have ever seen the film has so much energy,comedy and just personality

some of the best action i have seen in years puts many hollywood blockbusters to shame with so many beautiful sweeping wide shots and great single shot scenes

music was also epic

I Saw the Devil should be coming up on Amazon Prime in October. It's a brutal movie but sooo fun.
