I've found one for movies, but this thread should contain even television and video games.

The first game that comes to my mind, and i wanted to share, is Advent Rising.
The game itself is a big, glitchy mess, yet the music done by Tommy Tallerico is absolutely gorgeous and still gives me chills.

Here's a good compilation video of the major themes from the game

Another brilliant song from a game is Baba Yetu from Civilization IV (this time from a great game :cwink:)
It's sung in Swahili and just fits the tone of the games rapid journey through the history of the earth.

More great games with brilliant soundtracks are:

Final Fantasy XIII (Fang's Theme is a personal fave)
God of War
The Legend of Zelda
I could keep going but i want others to help.

Some of my favorite music from TV is mostly from Sci Fi shows, but some great ones are:

Doctor Who (especially Murray Golds tenth doctor period, where the music pretty much makes the Doctor sound like a god)
Battlestar Galactica (the music for the finale is mind blowing)
Xena (Some of the music from the later seasons is really well done, especially when they get to Rome)

C'mon people, post more!!!
Little known fact: John Williams composed the themes for Lost in Space.

Nobody? seriously?
With all the nerds and geeks on here, I'm surprised this thread hasn't had at least on reply.
