I love video game music, and I love music that takes inspiration from video games and video game music cliches. For example, I'm a big fan of Machinae Supremacy, who use a sound chip from a Commodore 64 to get an authentic video game sound into their pop-metal. Then there's The Protomen; they do rock opera based on Mega Man. Check 'em out on youtube; they wear helmets on stage and everything, haha.
