I saw it. I liked it. But I don't know where Rotten Tomatoes got it in their consensus to refer to it as "an angrily dark action thriller". It's an effing comedy.

YEah I keep hearing this is more of an action thriller with some jokes thrown in.
I also hear that it's more of Alan's story, until Chow shows up then it's more about Chow and that Stu and Phil are mostly side characters who are just used to react to Alan

i disagree about the first one. I dont see how it was about Phil. I always thought the first was about all 3. i agree about the second one being about Stu, however I still think it had a good balance of the 3 in terms of jokes.

I havent seen the 3rd one yet so I have to wait and see

saw last night and enjoyed it. better than the 2nd film and a nice way to end the series.

Yea I am still gonna see this with Fast 6 this weekend. But the spill guys are confusing. They liked the second movie but disliked this one. Crazy enough they liked the second one because of the darker tone and humor ( which most people hated it for that). But I still like this guys their reviews are hilarious.

I disagree, Alan should never be a focal character. He is like Jack Sparrow. Great when he is a side character or a foil to Will, but when he becomes the main protagonist and Will is gone or greatly reduced (At World's End and On Stranger Tides), it just doesn't work.

Well they had more postive things to say about the second one and seemed to like it in their audio review of the second movie. They dug the dark humor, the smoking monkey, etc. they didn't even complain that much about the plot being the same.

Have you seen it? In terms of a character arc, Alan has it, and it's pretty good. He's the one character who needed to grow and finally did in his own way. But in terms of him being more of a main character, he isn't that much. He is a catalyst to get the plot going, but other than that it's about the three of them. Though of course, more could have been done I feel in that department.

Why, they're the worst characters in these movies and it doesn't help its the only characters these actors know how to play so I'm already sick and tired of their irritating characters. You can tell Bradley Cooper has no interest in being there, and Ed Helms could careless. It's easy to understand since they're minor characters. I thought there's no way a summer movie could be worse than the embarrassing Iron Man 3 but I've been proven wrong. Also why would you make this so tame. Ugh don't go see this. It's an absolute waste. 4/10

You are entitled to your opinions but Iron Man 3 is not an embarrassing or bad movie by ANY means, weather or not you hated the Mandarin twist. Haven't seen Hangover 3 yet, but I find it hard to believe its worst than part 2. But I will see this weekend as I got plans to see this with family and friends as well as Fast 6.

Well...I liked it better than the 2nd one. Granted that's still not saying much but, I do.

It's definitely different. I don't think you could even classify it as a "comedy".
