To be honest, I'd rather see Mockingbird than Agent 13. I think Palicki is getting a bum rap on this. She should be in Civil War.

Mockingbird doesn't need to be in Civil War. Sharon Carter is Cap's girlfriend in the comics, so she pretty much needs to be in Civil War.

Well, I think it definitely is an end to some version of the team that we've come to know as The Avengers. Who knows exactly what's going to happen yet in that film, but I think this version of that team -- and I think we started to hint at it at the end of "Age of Ultron," that the team will be evolving. And one of the things we love in the comics is that the roster is always changing. That new people are coming on to the team, and that you could pick up an Avengers book ten years later and you don't recognize people on the cover. But the ideas and the ideals and things that make the Avengers the Avengers, still exist, and I think that's part of what this culmination will be. We're seeing this version of the team doing this thing to save the universe, the galaxy, however you want to put it, and we'll kind of see where that goes. It's not the end of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but I think it is the end of part of it, for sure. We're still trying to sort out which parts.

Ending naturally or getting cancelled doesn't really make much of a difference. If it's not on the air when Infinity War is in theaters. the end result is the same.

The problem with the Marvel movies has been that their villains so far have been more like background characters and fodder..with the exception of Loki and The Red Skull.

No I think they started script writing. Since IW was confirmed to begin production in near the end of 2016. But I too doubt those rumors. Especially since Marvel will likely squeeze one or two more appearances out of RDJ after IW's is over.

Then there's Hulk considering his popularity. I can't see them killing him off before they get out another solo film.

It has been. When I saw the Russos at that Smithsonian panel they did back in May, they said they had just received the first draft of the script the previous week.

That said, I don't put any stock in that rumor.

An early draft perhaps. Films go through multiple revisions and things often change as further drafts are done. So I stand by my assertion that there is no way anyone has concrete info on the plot this far out.

Probably not. Regardless, only heroes I can see dying are Cap and Thor. Vision and Groot, but Vision is repaired later. And Groot obviously regrows himself. Rhodey, Falcon can go or not. I don't really mind. But they rpobably won't because then we'll have the obligatory "Black Guy Dies First" rant. Widow and any of the female characters definately wont touched. Because y'know feminists.
I request that Hawkeye doesn't die. Because he works great as a teacher figure. I see now what Renner's purpose is. It was never to fight on the field. It's to help train/assemble New Avengers after Phase 3.
