Infinity War The Heroes That Stand Before Thanos

YEAH, Daredevil is in an Avengers film then.
Will they recast or go with Charlie Cox?
They go with Charlie. This isn't DC where we have two seperate versions of heroes on TV and Movies.

Yeah, Charlie's DD is a star. If you are lucky enough to cast an actor that perfectly embodies the character it makes absolutely no sense to recast for the movies.

Agreed.

Charlie Cox is the actor that Marvel thought would make the perfect Daredevil if they ever got the property back. So why in the film would they go with someone else who obviously wouldn't be the perfect DD in their eyes, since they've already cast him.

I could see them having cameos. Not much more.

So I see all those rumors about Cap and Thor and what not, not appearing in IW 1 are untrue. Good to know the likes of LR are wrong again

They often are. I think that's why Latino Review dubs us trolls.

I'm hoping for an all hands on deck lineup. I want fighting happening on all levels from Street Level, to earths military and shield, to space fights with the Guardians, to our elite Avengers making a suicide run on Thanos himself.

Of course they're honna need everything they have to take out Thanos.

I really do hope Daredevil makes it into Infinity War. It would be great to finally see him on the big screen again, although I hope he teams up with Spider-man before that.

Yeah....unless they water Thanos down considerably. I am still on the fence about how they write Thanos to be honest. They have done a poor job with villains that have possessed infinity gems.

I wonder if the Winter Soldier/ Bucky Barnes will be involved fighting alongside Captain America.

Well it'll make Thanos seem all the more threatening when he comes out with ALL of the gems.

Seems like Rulk is a possibility if recent rumours are to be believed.

Thing is, Thanos is only defeated in Infinity Gauntlet by his own subconscious, not by any feat by another being or hero. Even if all the Avengers, New Avengers, Defenders, Guardians, and cosmic beings rushed him at once he'd still easily win with the Infinity Gauntlet, so they better have him defeat himself in the movies like in the comics or they will be seriously nerfing Thanos' power.

I get the feeling Thanos's hubris will be his own downfall. That or maybe he manages to kill every hero and life form in the universe but even that isn't enough to make Death love him so he gives up the gauntlet and allows himself to be defeated.

^That would make sense for those of us who have read the comics and know about Thanos, but would the general audience go for it?

I mean there are already people who think he's not that big of a deal simply because he hasn't really done anything himself as of yet. Now of course this will all change within Phase 3, but nowadays it seems like general audiences don't want villains who have their insecurities and things like that which we all know is what makes Thanos fascinating; with all this power he has in his possession, he knows he doesn't really deserve it, especially if it's all to gain the love of someone who sorta thinks less of him.

What are the odds that Thanos uses the power of the gauntlet to bring back villains the heroes have fought already? Obviously this would depend on fx and actor contracts, but it would be awesome to see Iron Monger, Red Skull, Ronin, Ultron, Abomination, and so on be temporarily revived/summoned to fight the heroes. Boom, army with some emotional connection that isn't faceless.

While discussing Ant-Man, Kevin Feige seems to more or less confirm that [BLACKOUT]we will see Hope Van Dyne become the Wasp in a future movie[/BLACKOUT].

"But Hope is infinitely more capable of actually being a superhero in the beginning of this film, and we learn sort of that that’s ultimately when Hank reveals for the first time for the audience, and even the first time to Hope, what actually happened in the past and why he’s so nervous about putting on that suit. But there are things that we see towards the end of the film that indicate she could, she could get one of her own."

It is telling that Kevin Feige didn't even hesitate to confirm that before the movie comes out. Its always been fairly obvious, what else would Hope do in the coming films? Becoming the new Wasp is the whole point of her arc.

"We've been sitting on this information since Friday but can confirm now, that his reps and Marvel are under negotiations. Its all about formalities now and then an official announcement from Marvel will follow shortly."

The headline of the article that quote came from?

Asa Butterfield is Spider-Man

Yeah, right.

So who the Civil War art here's what we know this far. This is bearing in mind that I'm sure some characters will die before IW and some may be added (Warlock, Death, etc.).

Also I'm working under the assumption that the television shows will not be directly involved in the films (which has been the case so far).

1) Captain America
2) Iron Man
3) Thor
4) Hulk
5) Black Widow
6) Hawkeye
7) War Machine
8) Falcon
9) Winter Soldier
10) Agent 13
11) Star-Lord
12) Drax
13) Gamora
14) Groot
15) Rocket
16) Ant-Man
17) Wasp
18) Vision
19) Scarlet Witch
20) Black Panther
21) Spider-Man
22) Captain Marvel
23) Dr. Strange

Here are the villains set to appear:
1) Thanos
2) Loki
3) Nebula

To be honest, I'd rather see Mockingbird than Agent 13. I think Palicki is getting a bum rap on this. She should be in Civil War.
