"includes bonus scene"

why not "a bonus scene" or "bonus scenes"

lol

I can imagine what the folks at Warner Bros were saying when they came up with this bright idea...

WB EXECUTIVE #1: Guys, we need to make more revenue off of "Justice League". Any of you have any bright ideas?

WB EXECUTIVE #2: How about releasing an longer cut of the film? Or even Snyder's version of it?

WB EXECUTIVE #3: Too expensive and it would take too much time to re-edit the film.

WB EXECUTIVE #4: Why not just add one scene into the film and market it off as a special thing that people can only buy from certain retailers?

WB EXECUTIVE #1: That's freaking brilliant dude! Get on it right now. Those DC fans will eat that up in a heartbeat.

So...if it is just one bonus scene....I wonder what the hell it'd be?

Hell, the duration of the so called bonus scene could be less than 1 minute for all we know.

So does this officially mean that we won't be getting an actual extended cut?

Lol true.

Nah i wouldn't say so. They'll probs try to get as much money out of this one first. Then release another bkur ray with either more scenes or a directors cut.

It wouldn't really make sense with everything going as usual in Arkham and the guards thinking that Lex's still in his cell.

I can just imagine it being the bit of Clark and Lois from the trailer. Would let them say "not seen in theatres" without actually giving us anything new.

The bonus scene will be more of that lady talking to the media about how her janitor husband from Star Labs was taken by aliens.

Describing in excruciating detail how probes work. :o

These people are sitting on a goldmine of leftover footage that they know full well the fans wanna see and theyre gonna only give us ONE probably less than a minute scene? That beyond pisses me off.

This is not the extended version they might release, Extended Cut has 7 minutes worth of extra footage. :o

Theres no extended cut coming. Theyre writing this movie off and giving the finger to the fans who've supported this. But then I guess they really dont owe us anything do they. Unbelievable.

That's more or less what I am thinking.

Read this on reddit :

"If I wanted a scene not seen in theaters id just watch the trailers".

Sick.

I have small hope that some fans can get a hold of the movie and take out that horrible score and input some good Zimmer music

The fans that supported the movie are getting a home video release.

Aw my poor SHH folks.

I'm 99% positive that the extended cut's existence is very much like the so called "aether wind" that the 19thC physicists used to explain the propagation of the light through medium before Michelson & Morley disproved this long held theory & Einstein dropped special relativity on these classicist folks. lol

Frankly, I'm not interested in JL blu-ray and have no intention of watching it again.

Haven't been to the cinema in over 3 months. A good thing as I have a more relaxed time. lmao

This is being marketed the same way the "Bonus Scene" on the WW home release was. So I doubt its A) being put back into the movie or B) being called a "deleted scene." By making these scenes "Bonus Scenes" they don't give us a re-edited movie, but (IMO) make these scenes a part of the canon, unlike deleted scenes which aren't. My guess? Its a cut scene involving Aquaman that sets up his solo film ala "bonus scene epilogue" on WW blu-ray setting up JL.

Also for all of those "I told you there was no extended/Snyder cut coming" - If either of those cuts were ever going to see the light of day, it would NOT have been with this initial release. BVS was a different story as that cut was completely finished, and I'd argue that(most likely) the stuff put back into SS was probably the very last stuff cut, very late in the game, so the additional footage was already mastered and scored. With JL, its a different story. We know that only the final theatrical cut was what Elfman scored, and soon as Whedon came aboard his directive was the make a 2 hour film. So they would have to go back and re-edit and finish FX and score in either instance. I'm not saying with any certainty at all that we are going to get a different cut in the future, but the fact is a 100% completed alternate/extended cut does not exist...yet. That combined with all the leadership changes that juuuust happened, means there was no way a re-edit was going to happen this soon. Now Emmerich and Hamada could be discussing a future extended cut today for all we know, but they were just appointed in their new roles.

That’s some epic trolling on WB’s part.

“Extended Snyder cut? How about one deleted scene. It’s Ben Affleck crying on the toilet. Enjoy!”
