Either way this Superman return scene should be awesome, only thing that could ruin it is if they use Elfman's score instead of Zimmer's....

In that split second in the trailer they used Zimmer's score.

Then again....they used the Superman theme for trailers, sooooo.....

And about commentary for special features: those are normally shot during principal photography, if I'm not mistaken, so in any case they already have Zack's, if they use it or not that's a different story...

If they did provide the entire sequence of Clark going to see Alfred and then to the scout ship to retrieve his suit, I think the perfect place to re-insert those scenes would be after the Aquaman's whole confession to the group on board the aircraft.

Once superman retrieves his suit and flies off, then you could cut to the cut of the league's aircraft arriving in Russia.

Though, wouldn't it have been great if the scene with Superman retrieving his suit ended with him flying over city as he heads to Russia and people see him, thus getting their reactions towards seeing him back again?

I'm buying the Best Buy Steelbook, Walmart Blu-ray/DVD combo, standard DVD, multiple copies of the soundtrack to serve as beer coasters, and the Viewmaster Limited Edition with the bonus reel set WHICH IS THE ONLY WAY TO ACTUALLY "WATCH" THE SNYDER CUT.

Absolutely. It may make some fans appreciative but all it does is irritate me that superior footage exists and we're getting to see it in this manner. JL frustrates me to no end. Doesn't matter. I'll be getting multiple copies. The Wal-Mart exclusive looks loaded and I'm a sucker. A weak, weak sucker.

Same here bro. As much as the whole JL experience disappointed me, I still liked it enough to support multiple versions for my collection!

I really hope we get to see more Atlantis footage eventually, i know Zack filmed a ton of stuff with Dafoe and the Atlanteans and they got seriously underserved in the movie. It'd be a shame to let it all go to waste and it was probably expensive, too.

That's because Patty shot that scene afterwards and it was always intended to be included in the Bluray / DVD release as a 'Bonus scene' from the start.

Not the same thing. Snyder's scenes were part of the movie.

That said, that shot of Superman with the Zimmer theme? THAT'S what I wanted all along. Sigh. Tell me that shot with the music didn't feel....right? It felt perfect.

Folks, we are NOT getting a Snyder cut. Warners isn't going to throw tens of millions at him to finish his version, replete with VFX and a Junkie XL score. It just hasn't done well enough to warrant it.

I expect the extended cut to be released after 2 (or 3) months after the release of the regular theatrical cut.

I don't think we will get a Snyder's Cut in near future.
