I actually quite enjoyed Part 2 myself. Hatchet III is good, but it feels a little lacking. It literally feels like a part of a larger movie, so maybe if you watched all back to back, it'd feel better, but on its own, it falls a little short. Still, not bad though.Hatchet was awesome, loved it, Shame the sequel sucked mind. What's everyone else's thoughts on the third one?
You know Jason vs a Swat would have been a great plot in Jason Goes to Hell instead of it taking up about 5 minutes of screen time followed by a body jump plot.
So, for my now 33 Days of Halloween, I watched "The Loved Ones", a brutal Australian horror film. Without giving too much away, basically a teen scarred by the death of his father, is kidnapped by an outcast classmate and her father on the last day of school to be the king to her queen at their own messed up end of school dance. His mother and girlfriend also try to figure out what has happened to him. It gets far, far more messed up than that, but I don't want to give anything away to anyone who wants to see it. It isn't torture for the sake of torture like Hostel, and has a pretty good story and some great acting. Overall, I'd give it a solid 7/10. It isn't for everyone, and if you can't stomach gore in an average horror film, you probably won't like this one, but its worth a shot.
