I don't know that we'll ever seen something quite like the 80's slasher craze, but It has made it's resurgence in small burts for the past couple decades. In the 90's we had the "I Know What You Did..." films, and the Scream trilogy, as well as the early 90's films that rounded out most of the major franchises, that then got sequels later in the 90's, including Wes Craven's New Nightmare, and Halloween H20.
The 2000's haven't really had as much if you weren't looking, but we got some: Freddy vs. Jason, Scream 4, Hatchet and Hatchet 2, Halloween Resurrection, Seed and Bride of Chucky, Rob Zombie's Halloween and H2, Jason X, Nightmare and F13 remakes. I'm sure there are more I'm missing but we haven't been without them. Although it is arguable if any of those are good, and personally I only really like the Hatchet films and FvsJ out of those. But they are there.
Hatchet was awesome, loved it, Shame the sequel sucked mind. What's everyone else's thoughts on the third one?
You know Jason vs a Swat would have been a great plot in Jason Goes to Hell instead of it taking up about 5 minutes of screen time followed by a body jump plot.
Anyone else hate that Jason's mortal enemy is Corey Feldman? haha.
NoES2 is still pretty horrible. I like the whole possession thing with Freddy, but it is just executed horribly. Moving on to F13: A New Beginning.
It was unintentionally funny. Especially the ending where for those who don't know, [blackout]she turns out to be a robot for no apparent reason and kills the poor guy[/blackout]. That explains a few things in the movie but not how it happened itself.
Hatchet III was better than the second but not as fun as the original, imo. i had my hopes up but i just don't like Victor Crowley the same way i like Jason or the Shape.
Ok here's one, what does everyone think of Halloween: H20?
I loved all three of them. Was very happy to actually III in a theater. That was a great experience. I hope the rumors of all three films being connected into one epic flick does come about.Hatchet was awesome, loved it, Shame the sequel sucked mind. What's everyone else's thoughts on the third one?
That's a shame but at least it beats II from what you're saying. I like Victor Crowley but tbh who would get close to the big three anyway? No one really.

All the homo-eroticism!!!t:
that's true how can anyone come to the Father, son & Holy Spirit. But for a start to DVD series not bad to have the fan base it does I love alll 3 with 2 being the weak point and with maybe a bigger budget and a studio to go with it it would be a lot bigger.
Maybe I have a love for adam green as I love holliston and pretty much all the work he's done. "Frozen" is ok.
I still think Hatchet three as the best plot to go with a F13 movie maybe not steal the whole movie but have the whole it's more an action movie feel to it.
