Has anyone seen the computer animated version of Federico D’Alessandro's Halloween pitch?

It actually looked pretty good.

As much as I love all of the past slashers, I really hope that a new one comes along rather than more remakes. And not something spoofy like Hatchet.

I wish Zombie would have done T-Rex rather than Lords. I'm not sure if he ever came out and said it but I would put money down that he used a lot of his T-Rex ideas while doing the Halloween movies. Mighta worked for T-Rex but it just wasn't MM.

Honestly, I want a sequel, however, I don't want it entirely focused on teens, I'd rather it be more about police officers of the area; I mean I would have teens as the smaller side characters that are victims, but I rather watch some mature and adult characters go head to head with Jason.

That's actually the whole idea behind my Survivors United concept. The survivors are all now adults, and are fully prepared to confront Jason again. Add in some drunk & horny teenagers who just happen to be in the area, and you've got yourself a movie.

That was one of my concepts a while back too, then Freddy vs Jason vs Ash 2 comics happened and I felt like no matter what I'd do it would seem like a rip-off. :csad:
Anyone else here like Pumpkinhead?
Of course. One of the most forgotten monsters of horror I feel.

The young woman being dragged across the ceiling in the first night of the living dead film, or the jet of blood shooting out of Johnny Depps car are far more dynamic than anything in pretty much any of the F13 films and certainly more than any of the Halloween films.

I honestly have no idea why there is more than one Halloween film featuring Michael Myers.

What movie were YOU watching? I don't recall that scene from George Romero's original Night Of The Living Dead. And didn't the blood gyser come out of Johnny Depp's bed? LOL, just bustin your chops.

Jason has the best slasher movie kill of all time; the head punch from Manhattan.

Ah weird extended typo.

The Conjuring has been extremely successful, it reached 108 million in domestic total box office this weekend.

It has been a fairly successful year for horror this year, both moneywise and I'd say in quality.

We'll see how Insidious 2 and Carrie do.

That short that came out late last year? If so yeah, that was fantastic. Better than that entire Zombie **** fest.

Zombie can't do T-Rex because he can't get a studio to fund a movie with that budget with him at the helm.

I always loved the sleeping bag death the best. The one where Jason slams the girl in the sleeping bag into a tree.

Am I the only one still pissed that Trick r Treat didn't become a full-blown series/franchise? I would've loved getting another one of those every few years.

^The little shorts that Fearnet has put together over the years just makes it worse!

There are two things I REALLY want in the horror world right now... a Trick r Treat sequel and for HBO to bring back Tales From the Crypt.

Trick r Treat surprised me. I wasn't expecting much, but what I saw was excellent. If we got one of those, say, every other Halloween I'd be happy.

Trick r Treat was awesome. I was expecting a ton because of all the problems getting it released and it was a pleasant surprise.

I'm watching it now. What the hell is up with Lezlie Deane?

Forget Lezlie Deane, what the hell is up with Monica Keener's face? She was totally hot in Freddy vs Jason. Now she looks like the collagen in her lips exploded.

Trick r Treat was a surprise to me too. It was better than I was expecting given it's release history (constant theatrical release pushbacks) and direct to video status as well as relative obscurity.

Last night I watched SHIVERS for the first time in a long time....such an awesome and creepy movie. Early cronenberg is the best.

I thought TRICK R TREAT sucked.

I didn't like it that much either. I thought it was kind meh.

Has anyone seen 6 Films to Keep You Awake? I just kind of gave it a chance out of nowhere and thought it was pretty awesome. The quality and movies were high end and had some real creep factor.

I suspect Zombie is done with the horror genre; if I recall correctly, he is working on a hockey film, the Broad Street Bullies. Considering the interviews he has given that show an exhaustion with the genre, I think it is for the best.

Good, 'cause IMO his horror films suck.

I thought I was the only one! While I wouldn't say that I hated the film, it wasn't that great IMO. But to each their own.

While I really dislike his Halloween films, I find a lot to like about House of 1000 Corpses and the Devil'ls Rejects. Corpses in particular gets under my skin in a way no other horror film from the past 20 years manages to. I find it unnerving as hell.
