The Hulks Leaping/Jumping

Well in TIH they seemed to keep to the laws of physics more accurately than '03, so they would've taken the accurancy of longer and shorter jumps into consideration.

I don't know what kind of physics class you took, but I'm sure that a 5' 10'' man transforming into a 10' green monster is not keeping to the laws of physics.

Like everything else, Ang Lee's movie just did it better, it was stupid that they cut this out of TIH, its one of the Hulk's main abilities, its like a Superman movie were he doesnt shoot lasers from his eyes.

I strongly agree with you, the only thing that '08 did that wasn´t in '03 was the thunder clap, HULK was much more faitfull to comicverse IMO

I think they did a good job updating Hulks origin and giving it more deep

I was talking about the jumping, in '03 hulk was able to change the direction of the jump midair, not possible. In '08 unless hulk can calculate the result of a jump specifically from a mile away or be able to change direction midair, it is far better to use shorter jumps that increase the chance of success.

From Brasil to Guatemala there are like 2000 miles... if HUlk can make 1 mile jumps, then that means he did more than 2000 jumps... that a lot of jumpingt:

capital.. THANK YOU!!!!! I hate when people say, let's keep it a little real. IT IS based off a comic man. A freakin comic, that is basically saying Hey you have artistic license to do whatever you want.

I don't feel like it, but somebody do a train leaving boston and the other one leaving Chicago scenario. In other words calculate the time it would take to jump from Brazil to Guatemala.

I think Hulk jumping in HULK was great...I loved the running (given the leg power and his size, hell...he is out of there) and hate it when people compare it to the flash and say it was too fast. No, it wasn't and think if Hulk could run like that and it look good and fast, wait until we see the FLASH MOVIE if it ever happens.

[Now back to leaping] I have no complaints about the jumping in, its just if Guatemala is that far and he only can jump a mile, then D*MN, he is Jumping all night long. IMO Hulk can jump 10 miles. YEAH I said it!

ALSO I HAVE A THOUGHT.....IF Norton/Bruce can not have sexual seductions with Betty as not to get excited...might there be away around it? He could purposely go Hulk and then let Betty calm him down to the point where he turns back to Bruce. And at that very moment they could do the freaky because all of us Men know that after the first juice release, it takes longer for the second one to spin a web, i.e. Hulk out. Getcha Hulk on,ugh, getcha, getcha getcha, getcha, getcha Hulk on!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agreed, i thought it was much more faithful as well, i dont see how people can claim this new one is more faithful, it is in certain aspects, but not in others.

He never once changed the direction of the jump in mid-air, he was able to alter it slightly using his arms, but that was it.

Depends on how many kilometers. In The Incredible Hulk game, it's a big range difference from Hulk '03.

He didnt even do that, he changed ever so slightly using his arms, which isnt impossible, skydivers can do it!

Yes, that was a wonderful sequence. It really contributed elements of an "epic" nature and scope to the film, I thought. It reminds me now of the "beacons" sequence from the third Lord of the Rings film.

But you can't just add leaping for leaping's sake. It has to be integrated naturally into the action at hand. That being said, the action in TIH could have been handled better.

What ticks me off is the fact we all know Ang Lee's movie was considered a failure, but he did get a few things right like the leaping & it shouldn't be ignored because the rest of the movie failed. I hated Spiderman Hulk which is what we got in TIH. I also didn't like Flash Hulk in the Hulk. The need to keep their powers different & like the CB when they can.
