peeta is much more cerebral than katniss. we see katniss' actions all externally, his are far more subtle. reading the books, we got katniss' POV while she was doing some of these things, so we knew why she was doing them. since we don't get her thoughts and whatnot on film, her actions are more visually obvious.

like they said above, peeta is great with words and tactics etc. in the first, he makes a deal with the careers, he says all the right things to flickerman, he gets a lot of sponsor and capitol love, the donating of a portion of their winnings, etc. the one time i really can recall him acting impulsively and not really thinking, he walked into a force field wall and almost died lol

He might be smarter than her that way, she's definitely more fool-hardy but she's the braver of the two, more courageous and more heroic.

It is interesting they chose to portray it this way.

That makes no sense. While Katniss is the "face" of heroism, there is a reason Peeta is the most desirable person around.

Peeta is a perfect example of understated bravery, courage and selflessness, and arguably shows to have more of these qualities then Katniss. He simply isn't as obvious as Katniss. Consider how he suffers in silence over Katniss, what he does to protect her.

Catching Fire is almost a pure demonstration in his understated heroism, courage and bravery. Peeta isn't simply kind, he is shown as the best kind of person. Everyone who knows him knows it. He simply doesn't have Katniss' the same skills or abilities. Which is why he is shown to use his mind far more often, like the false pregnancy.

And to be fair, that was a horrible time to do so.

The Capital teaser was attached to prints for Transformers 4. Looks like that was the 'Seashore' teaser Lionsgate was all hush-hush about.

Can anybody legitimately claim that any pair of adjacent comic book superhero movies are superior to Hunger Games 1+2?

Hint: Iron Man and Captain America 2 are not an adjacent pair.

Relative to other blockbusters, these movies are underrated in my opinion.

lol Iron Man 2 = Hunger Games , lower quality of the two
Iron Man 1 and Catching Fire - benchmark films that are the goal for their genres

IM2 was crass and unbearable, it had a mediocre reception, and I never had any desire to see it again.

She makes up for it by not being at all self conscious about her body. I looked up all the actors as the casting was being announced and some of the pics of Jena that came up were real eye openers.
