The Huntsman: Winter's War

Snow White and the Huntsman wasn't a great film, but it definitely had its moments!!! Now with a sequel in development, how should universal move it forward??

I'm thinking the Huntsman should pop up in other Fairytale/myths/fantasy stories!!!

I really think that's the best way to handle it... I'd definetly like the next one to be the Huntsman and Robin Hood.... So we can skip that romantic ish... And really have the two characters clash!!

The only thing I don't like about that, is that they going to turn it into a medieval "Twilight" love triangle... We could all see it in the film, and They just didn't pursue it that much... If its a direct sequel then obviously they going to try and follow up on that love story...

The first film is meh. I expect the sequel to be as hotly anticipated and warmly accepted by audiences as Fantastic Four 2: Rise of the Silver Surfer.

If it's the continuing adventures of the Huntsman in different settings, is he THAT interesting as a character?

No but if your gonna make a franchise out of this he's the most likely one to be connecting them all.

I can see what they're trying to do, but I wish he was more..interesting despite Chris Hems doing his best to make the character serviceable.

None of the characters were that interesting or deep. Visually I would want this director to come back but there needs to be somebody working behind him who gives a crap about the story.

The weird thing is that the writers are all really good. In fact, one of them worked on the screenplay to Drive. So I think there's a bit of a committee tone from the studio to the first film.

I actually enjoyed the first movie A LOT more than I was expecting too, so I would be interested in the sequel no matter what direction they took it in. The only thing is, is there really any more story for any of these characters?

If they can work up a good story that returns everyone, i'm game.

I like the idea of The Huntsman helping various characters. One movie can be Jasmine from Aladdin & maybe even Ariel etc. They just need to get more respectable actresses for them

Perhaps by default. Also it kind of goes with his narrating. I wouldn't mind seeing the Dwarves again though. Actually I'd prefer they kept these films separate but that's highly unlikely.

but i think a huntsman spinoff would work better, snow white's storyarc was pretty much finished at the end of the movie

According to Deadline, Stewart's not out;

Universal Pictures has taken the unusual step of outright denying a Hollywood Reporter story that Kristen Stewart had been dumped from the sequel to Snow White And The Huntsman. The studio issued this statement from Universal Co-Chairman Donna Langley: “We are extremely proud of Snow White And The Huntsman and we’re currently exploring all options to continue the franchise. Any reports that Kristen Stewart has been dropped are false.”
