Erzengel - Ancient bringer of teh hotties.

Oh, and don't forget the Hype! comic and Rabbit & Dog. :D

The Hype! Comic: The original Fan Fic starring Hype members (though it existed in Community). It was created by TomWelling4Sups, and was initially concieved as a sci-fi story about people granted powers by some sort of alien technology. Many Hype members took up his offer of small roles in the story, and .gifs of each of them were created. Unfortunately, he lost most of what he'd made in a computer crash after only three 'issues'.

Rabbit & Dog: A tale featuring the adventures of posters Rabbit and DOG LIPS, who were presented as animal/man hybrids created in a lab. At one point, they battled Satan. It is notable for being DOG LIPS's first foray into Hype-related story-telling.

Interesting read. You forgot Mindworm and m0dr0cker.

Also, the Tukiluka forum.

Leet: Internet shorthand, commonly found in forums, chat rooms, and online game play. Known for abbreviations of words and phrases (example: 'Laughing out loud' = 'lol'; 'Right out ****ing loud' = 'rofl'). Letters are also frequently replaced by numbers ('E', for example, is often replaced by the number 3). Fittingly, 'leet' is frequently spelled '1337'. "Adult Swim" often references 'leet', and is credited with popularizing the phrase "teh s uck". A student once bet $1337 as his Final Jeopardy wager on a teen edition of Jeopardy.

I think I will add a little something to this thread. It is a word I've seen here a few times and I use it myself also.

dood: slang for dude. variation for dude. also means friend; or comrade.

doodette: slang for dudette. variation of dudette. means friend; or comrade.

The Fifth Tentacle:

A reference to Doc Ock's 'private parts', most often used by Alfred Molina's fangirls in the Spider-Man forums.

I think this should, if anything, deal only with hype specific entries, and that so far you're all missing a very important one.

I think the Dan & Vicki thing needs an entry. :D

Exalted needs an entry, including his battle with Spider-Fett.

Oh Mindworm... I miss him. Guess his important legal work got in the way.

GOATSE - Master Bruce, Amazing Lee, Sava, and Master Chief's butt pictures that shocked the Hype into losing 3 years off it's life and proving they are aliens with huge anuseses.
Ha ha ha.

I think VINO & Scorpom need to be added to the Hype Encyclopedia.

VINO - Same as CINO but this time it refers to Topher Grace playing Eddie Brock in S-M3.

Scorpom - What happens when you mix two of Spidey's deadliest villains, mix 'em up togther to for one, crappy villain. Scorpion + Venom = Scorpom.

Nachosss Anybody: A term from the magic bullet infomercial that describes someone being "goofy" on the hype.

Bump- The act of adding a new post to a thread that had previously stopped getting attention, as a way of keeping a conversation going.

There. I fixed that entry for you, muscles.

Hype Deathmatch - A series of polls started by Holly Goodhead in an attempt to see which hyper would win in a fictional fight to the death, out of selected individuals by Goodhead herself. DOG LIPS won the first one due to multiple accounts aiding him, and hosted the Second installment, in which many, many Hype friendships were destroyed and many enemies were made. Goodhead should also be noted as having probably, and most likely, laughed her ass off at the ensuing chaos.

Gamma Lounge entry dammit

Gamma Lounge- Long-running thread in Community started by poster GammaMike, used for general discussion, as opposed to specific topics that would otherwise get their own threads, and often populated by former members of the famous Manties Squad. It was later renamed the "Hype Lounge", and recently, the "Hype Gamma Lounge".
