GhostRider87: Infamous gangly, blonde and creepy looking Hype member who met a young and cute waitress named Carmen at Hooters. Carmen flirted with him for tips and to get him to order from their outrageous al la carte menu. GR87 took this harmless flirting as quiet serious and decided that Carmen was in fact very much attracted to him. After writing fan fiction in which he developed a super-heroine based on this girl, he decided to follow up his encounter three months AFTER he met this waitress at Hooters by planning a return where he will give her his number and tell her "she SHOULD call him". However other Hype posters are suspect that he may be a stalker and or serial murderer.

Seriously, that reminds me of this weird phenomenon that I've experienced quite a few times here.

Some topic's getting talked about, so I'll make an observation about it, where I'm honestly not trying to be funny, I'm just saying a little thing that popped into my head about it.

Then, some other person will quote it and just stick a "LOL, oh crap, I just shot Sprite up my nose when I read that!" under it.

And then, I'll read that and think "HuH?"
So I'll read what I said, and suddenly it makes me shoot tepid coffee up my nose.

Like I didn't think it was funny until someone else thought it was funny, which almost makes the concept of humor seem to be a symbiotic....

Hype Civil War: Ironically coinciding with the Marvel Civil War event, this occured when a group of posters formed a pocket resistence against the mods (specifically Morg) after feeling very put upon by their presence. A declaration was posted which featured a sentence relating Morg's moderation skills to his handicap. The thread was made a sticky on the Community forum and became a battleground of debate between the mods and posters. Although most posters seemed apathetic about the cause, some became quiet passionate. However the Hype Civil War was ended rather abruptly by SuperHeroHype exclaiming "those who dislike SHH should find another playground in which to play". Not much has been made of it since.
