If had to choose, I'd say Bay puts a lot more into his action scenes than Wong. The only problem is he puts A LOT of action into those scenes and I can never tell what's going on. If not for that signature 360 degree camera angle I might not even get stirred up by the whole thing.

I loved the fights in The One though.

I guess I'm the only one on the planet that likes Shia. His humor and timing is identical to the kind me, my brothers, and friends have. So I always loved when he came on screen. I'm a 90s kid, so giant robots that don't have to do with Heero Yuy don't hold a huge spot in my heart.

Dorky, did you see Cradle to the Grave? I'd say that was his worst. Other than Jet, Dacascos was the only other thing worth seeing.

He just comes off as annoying to me. Ever since I watched Even Stevens, I'll never understand how this guy gets cast in these big budget films.

i like him. he might or might not be a *****e in real life but he's a descent actor and he's believable in most of his roles.

i liked Cradle to the Grave better, but only because Dacascos and Kelly Hu (*drools*) were in it. plus, i didn't find Jet Li's acting as appalling as it was in the One. most of the action in the One was better (not by much) but the overall product was worse than Cradle to the Grave imo.

Stylish, I think it's a lot of sarcasm blended with nervousness, so I could understand it coming off a bit annoying. He can be a bit of a *****e, but then again so can I, which is why I appreciate it lol.

You make a good point Dorky, I forgot all about Kelly Hu (drools as well). I think when Jet is a bad guy he shouldn't talk too much. At least if it's as over-the-top at it was in The One. I was just a kid when it came out though, so I loved anything Jet was doing. The ending monologue was probably my favorite part. Looking back at it, the film was pretty poorly crafted. The action is what draws me in now. That and the "I am nobody's b****!" line.

yeah, i'll admit that when i first saw it i liked it because when i was younger i liked the effects and wasn't as into movies as i am now....and i DID love the last line "i'm Yu LAW! i'm NOBODY'S *****...." but i also remember watching it not too long ago and remember that this is the only movie where Jason Statham is UNDERwhelming.

either way, let's hope Wong has learned some lessons from the One and applied them to this flick.
