Aloha Themanofbat,
Although you may not get a lot of dialogue in this thread, never forget, it's viewership is great. Over the years, several have tried to do variations of this thread on this and other boards, but were unsuccessful. As a true Spidey :spidey:fan, we know that this is a labor of LOVE:hrt:
Much thanks for your efforts.

iloveclones, Donald Thomas and myself among a couple others all comment quite a bit. We all appreciate the time and effort. To make this related to your most recent batch, check out the awesome mullet on the blonde chick from the Spec #164 cover. So late 80's. :woot:

^ Ha! It's funny that you guys wrote that, because for some reason when I saw the thread this morning, I was thinking how bummed I'm gonna be when it expires (around May I think)

If I were JQ, I would have found a way to keep both of these guys. Hope they return someday. (Personally, I would love to see Kolins as the full-time artist on Spidey with Slott. And frankly, I would ask Kirkman which franchise he wants and let him run with it. FF or the main Avengers title would be my choice.)

I remember so clearly getting this at a flea market they held at a Drive-In close to my house every Sunday. It makes me laugh when I think about it: How much did I "save"? 10 cents as opposed to the price gouging 30 cent cover price? :D

Hey... that 20 cent savings was nice in those hard economic times of 1976... :yay:

When you're nine, every day is a hard economic time.....

...although, I have to admit, I'm not so sure that's the case today.

Yeah, but the charm of being a broke kid, was scrounging for dimes and quarters under pillow cushions, saving your meager allowance for one big purchase or secretly pocketing the change from the fiver that your mom gave you to buy a carton of milk. No charm being broke as an adult when you have to pay off school loans, electric bills, taxes, etc. :csad: To address your point in small text, indeed these days it seems some well-off kids are spoiled too much and have more money to throw around than some recession-stung adults who are three times their age. Rant over, back to Spidey. :word:
