Aloha,
Variant covers will drive you crazy:doh:. This cover is the newsstand cover. Go back and see the same cover with the characters in gold for the variant.
This has been a great experience for me.Nothing like a little public humiliation to make you get your act together:word::yay:.

At this point in time, I was just getting the newsstand covers because I couldn't handle all the extra costs for a "deluxe" cover with fancy shiny paper on it... personally, I'm hoping the regular covers are worth more due to lower print runs... lol

:yay:

I loved 'Pursuit', and especially the conclusion. I think I may also be the only person in existence who kinda liked the gritty "I am the Spider" phase. :csad: Maybe it's because I was only 11 at the time and had never read stuff like DKR or Watchmen. Who knows what my opinion would be if I read it fresh now?

I liked Mahlstedt. Emberlin was too heavy imo.

Aloha,
This is why I asked the question. Even if people don't have the comics, go back and check out the covers all drawn by Bags but with Mahlstedt and Emberlin as well as a combination of both.I agree Emberlin was heavy in that he made a more muscular Spidey and others. When I compare the two inkers to Bags' pencils, Emberlin edges out Mahlstedt. What you call heavy I call more defined.
