I like the film designs for Megatron and Starscream. But I also understand the concerns of people who don't. With that in mind, I think that it is important to bring back Frank Welker and cast somebody who can pull off a Chris Latta-esque voice for Starscream, perhaps Mark Hamill or Scott McNeil. The writers have said that these two characters will retain their G1 personalities. That combined with familiar voices would help the film, IMO.

Nothing beats seeing a familiar face though.

I hope they give Megs and Starscream their faces back.

the starscream voice for the cartoon isnt really needed imo...

im sure theres PLENTY of huge voice talents out there......theres relly no need to constrict yourself to only one.

willem dafoe would be good:)...lol

Frank Welker? Is that the one who voiced the G1 Megatron?

Ill rather have megatron with a deeper evil voice, im unsure if i would like his voice to be of the one on the cartoons.

I really love the guy who does the Voicework for Armada, Energon, Cybetron and Beast Wars.

I find G1 Megatron to be very annoying.

Leonard Nimoy

Starscream has ONE friggin' line. A monkey can be the voice actor for him and it wouldn't matter. Hell, it'd match his look.

So Starscream is getting the Colossus treatment? :(

Well hopefully they given him more lines in the final draft of the script. Lots of things can change, Even dialogue.

Actually the line is subtitled.

I'm not even sure if Welker could lift that design up so it seems like Megatron. And since they're making Megs out to be a alien monster that eats sparks....I doubt we'll get Welker. Granted if they get Welker he could voice every character in the movie.

How in the world can you like Guyvertron?! And that face on the Screamer prototype must go. really, why do people accept so much mediocrity nowadays

He said he understands why people don't like the design, can't you extend him the same courtesy? He likes them...let him be.

Since reading the early draft, I really hope the latest revision they used as the shooting script added more stuff, This early draft didn't have the Starscream and Megatron dynamic that the writters mentioned on the webcast. They only say a few lines together and that was it. Plus they spoke in Cybertronian and with English Subtittles.
