We've all heard about Norton & Marvel wanting different cuts of the film...

We've all heard about the whopping 70 minutes of footage cut from the film...

We've heard Louis Letterier talk about a number of things that were going to be in the film, but were not in the final cut...

We've heard how those 70 minutes are going to be included on the dvd BUT only as deleted scenes...

I personally want the theatrical version AND a director/Norton cut of the film...

It always upsets me when studio's release a film multiple times with different features &/or cuts... But for once in my life I'm begging for a double dip of The Incredible Hulk on DVD...

What do you want?

1) The theatrical cut with deleted scenes
2) The extended cut
3) Both in one DVD box
4) Both released seperately

I would love for them to release both in one but I think Marvel will do like other companies by releasing the theatrical cut first then later on release the extended edition so they make more money from it.

I'm hoping they release an extended 3 disk directors cut of the movie.

They should do a 3-disc super edition, that includes the Norton Cut, the studio cut and special features.

I'm hoping that TIH can delvier a strong opening week for DVD, but marvel needs to put ALOT of effort into ensuring that it's a smashing success. a loaded DVD offer with serious tie-ins to Best Buy and Walmart will really help to boost the movies chances of making a big splash. If they are looking to continue the franchise, they probably need to mend fences with Norton completely, and one way that might help is to push out a Norton's Cut on the DVD.

Nail on the head...

The only way TIH can become a franchise is to get Edward Norton to return at ANY cost...

& from what we heard (official press release downplaying aside) Norton may have felt burned... I definitely think releasing Norton's version of TIH (I'd actually prefer a Norton/LL cut because I feel like they were probably on the same page for the most part anyway... & I really think the director should have final say because it's his creation/vision... his name on it) will help solidify Norton's involvement in future Hulk films.

Then ink him for the Avengers & to have him write & star in 2 more Hulk films... That would be pleasant news to hear...

Yeah, the cut would be LL and Norton, and it would be officially called the extended cut, but the unofficial name would mostly be called the Norton's Cut, given the perception of his objections to the movie's theaterical cut. It's probably going to cost marvel some money to get the cut completed, but it might be money well spent, imho.

is it too much to ask for both? i like to see both in one DVD package.

i'll be honest. i was perfectly happy with the version they put out at the theater. i loved it. and i give it a perfect 10.
however, if they want to include the extended/Norton version as part of the package, hey... more power to me! sure, i'm curious. but i'm not extremely curious about it. there was absolutely nothing wrong with the theatrical release version.

I'm hoping for a Director's Cut, but i feel that might be unlikely over the theatrical/deleted scenes release. But if DVD sales are through the roof, then the possibility of a Director's Cut could become more of a reality, and they did do it for the Punisher and Daredevil.
