N no I honestly dnt know how there hasnt been a couple of screenshots that have popped up. I would if I knew how, but I dnt.

Yeah, I said I wasn't going to do it, but I skipped ahead to the last episode to see it too. Didn't watch the whole scene because I didn't want to spoil it for myself TOO much but it was a little hard to get a good look at the suit. Nothing wrong with that of course; Daredevil (IMO) should be able to slink back into the shadows, which is why I've never understood why some people want him to wear BRIGHT red.

Looked like he might have had the DD on his belt, but I'm not sure. Overall, what I saw looked cool but like most superhero movie/TV show costumes, this one will probably evolve over time so the people who don't care for it shouldn't worry too much.

don't tell me he's got make up around his eyes like batman or arrow... looks like he's got black contacts :( if it was a movie the costume would have looked so much better.

No offense, but I'm not sure that I buy the argument that TV shows don't have the budget to create costumes that are as good as what we see in movies. I mean, how expensive are these costumes on average? If TV shows can afford good special effects, moderate-to-big-name actors, up-and-coming (and sometimes A-List) directors and writers, fight choreography, set design, etc., why wouldn't they be able to afford good costume designs?

I think we just got a bad promo image cause it looks so good in action.

i don't know, but take deathlok in agents of shield for instance, the costume looks awful. i don't think that in a movie they would use a costume like that and i mean also the one he wore in the last episode, that was just slightly better.

I knew people were going to skip to the end just to see the costume.

That's definitely a budget thing. Doing Deathlok properly would probably require CG and a lot more money.

Actual design is another thing, but I feel like the QUALITY of the DD suit IS movie quality. You might not like the details but it does look very professional. As good as anything Chris Evans wears, easily.

It was a bit of a letdown. They kind of went with the above design, except with the red and black in reverse.

No Daredevil symbol, reason why below.

No Daredevil symbol, but that's because he doesn't name himself Daredevil. The papers do that. Always hope for season two or Defenders I suppose.

The good news is, he has the versatile billy clubs, and he does fun stuff with them after he gets them. No grappling or rappelling though.

Yeah, I feel like Deathlok is one of those characters like Iron Man that does require a movie budget, because it requires more special effects than the actual costume. But I feel like a character like Daredevil is different because he's intended to be a bit more realistic. I don't think that a DD movie costume by Marvel would have been all that different from what we got here.

Still not the best they could've done IMHO.

It's not terrible. But just saying. Fans trashed the 1990s armored design, when this costume looks very similar to it in some ways. Just putting that out there.

Yeah, but I'm one of the few that likes that 90s design. :D I always thought it was pretty cool.

Although it looks like he's holding a jumprope in that statue above.

Thanks for posting, Levi. Overall, I like the design a lot. I just think the mask needs a little tweaking.

It does resemble Flash and Arkham Asylum Batman in some ways.

I'd say it resembles Winter Soldier Captain America's costumes with the cloth material with patches on top of it

Red suit.

Now that's not 100% comic book accurate. But it does look bloody cool. I would like to see all the black parts become red eventually, along with the minor changes to the mask sculpt that have already been discussed.

GUYS! !! I Saw this clip on Netflix fb..it about 1 mins long..the end of the clips show DD in his traditional red comics suit..I wonder if they gonna use the suit in the Netflix show eventually

I think the suit looks great. Very tactical, makes sense for an urban street brawler.
The suit sparks when Kingpin is attacking Daredevil with his own club, so I assume its meant to show how durable it is.
The only thing I think throw it off for me is the covered nose. But I think they were going for a protective mask like NBA players use, like someone mentioned before. Because the mask looks like it has a plate covering the forehead part as well.

Where is the link?

That's my feeling as well. It's not nearly as bulky as the Nolan Batman suit. It's about as streamlined as Cap's Avengers1 suit but the color scheme works better here.
