The Dark Knight The Internal Affairs Division of the Gotham Police Department (Updated 6/9)

"Taking tools from aisle 12 of the hardware store, Arguellino-Diaz drilled into the car using a 120 volt electric drill, then picked up a 16-inch, 13-volt double-insulated cordless saw. He used the tool to cut thru the car metal and extract the victim."

why are we given this info about the drill and the saw he uses? maybe another clue

and why is through spelled thru??? that's just bad proof-reading:cwink:

Maybe it isn't relevant but on www.danaworthington.com/ she talks about her father working in a tool shop called "Gotham tool and Die". It's a pretty wierd name for a shop.

yeah some of that is just a little too specifically detailed

Glenn Barhyte really gives off that noir feel. Random but yeah. Also the whole tool thing can't be a coincidence.

Isn't 'thru' a common American spelling? Like 'nite'?
And that tool thing is definitely to be saved for the future. Or it could be a red herring.

oh well i thought thru was short hand for notes but not for official stuff but that is beside that point anyway. i just think the tool thing is there for a reason and it also calls the saw "double-insulated" as well which is something we don't need to know

boywonder - i like your idea w/ the numbers, so i brought it up (giving you credit of course) in the Gothamcab.com discussion because they needed a PIN number. Someone said they'd already found the pin though, and then mentioned the Victom's Advocate foundation and the tie in the the tool company... Maybe someone should give the VAF a call and see if we can put a pin in anywhere?

So i grabbed my phone and called the VAF and it's still the old message.. dang

doesn't work

No. But I think taking something should be reported.
Because what that officer did was (dun,Dun,Duh) SHOP LIFT

^ Nothing, I just checked.

I really wish that a new Joker site would go up.

Same here, but I guess we'll have to just deal with the creepy new text we all got.

I wish all of us got that text. I have a feeling that only those phones will have something special to do. And not the rest of us.

Also of note:
Under Glen Barhyte
"Favourite Song: Arguably the Stones' biggest hit, from 1965."

That couldn't sound more like a clue if it tried. The song in question is 'Satisfaction".

^ That was used in another VC game. That clue was used to hack into the Internal Affairs website to get access to some certain documents

Okay thanks, I'll keep trying. It's hard to keep track of what remains unsolved.
