hehe..makes me miss the classic trolls like Bakerboy and Mr parker

We had someone here who claimed TDK helped determine the 2008 Presidential Election.![]()
That was a thread that went downhill fast.
Last year, it was Avengers vs. TDKR. God forbid, anyone liked them both.
I just can't understand that logic.Rooting for other major CB movie to fail just doesn't makes sense. One major box office bomb from a major Marvel/Dc franchise will means the beginning of the end for the genre.
Let's not pretend the craziness and stupidity was equal on both so-called sides. It wasn't. And the overwhelming majority of avengers fans loved TDK. It wasn't marvel fans, by and large, who took sides.
Th Great Nolan vs Whedon Fanboy War of 2012.
We will see nothing as loathsome until the Great Avengers vs Star Wars battle of 2015.
I'm betting it won't be as fierce as DC...errr Nolan fanboys vs Marvel fanboys.
For the same reason we didn't see Potter fans Vs Avengers/Marvel fans![]()
It seemed like a few people here were trying to get a Star Trek vs. Iron Man fanwar off the ground a few days ago, but that seems to have died as quickly as it began. Maybe because the same ones who were complaining about The Mandarin Twist just got it rehashed in STID, I dunno.
It won't have the same effect as the...Nolan era
The Nolan era gave birth to a...special kind of fans![]()
I love TDK and MCU.... does that make me weird?
You weirdo. You enjoy enjoyable superhero movies? Give me a break. =PI love TDK and MCU.... does that make me weird?
Agreed. He's a good example of a fun sane way to enjoy the dc/mrvel rivalry. What happened last year was a different animal altogether.
On topic: does IM3 still have a chance of hitting 1.2b? And is 5th place all-time a lock?

If there's one thing Gandhi wasn't, it was offensive. At the risk of being totally offensive...there's a quote from Ghandi about Christianity that can be reappropriated for this.
"I like your Christopher Nolan, but I do not like your Nolanites."
