Last year, it was Avengers vs. TDKR. God forbid, anyone liked them both.

Agreed.
CBM fans should be fans of *all* CBM movies (as am I), because the genre's survival depends on it. Can't we all just get along, join hands and sing "Kum Ba Yah?"

Well things can get heated cross genre for box office nerds.

The Bayformer fans got into it with Potter fans in 2011 because TF3 and DH2 had close release dates.

It seemed like a few people here were trying to get a Star Trek vs. Iron Man fanwar off the ground a few days ago, but that seems to have died as quickly as it began. Maybe because the same ones who were complaining about The Mandarin Twist just got it rehashed in STID, I dunno.

There were a lot of people trolling this thread, just to get a reaction out of people. I made a comment on how I couldn't wait until people started comparing Iron Man 3 and the Great Gatsby, which made them go ballistic.

I liked STID and I liked IM3, but the guy was trying to say that STID was going to make people dislike IM3. I guess they've been proven wrong.

Pretty much..it needs a little over 46 mill to over take TF3 for #5..that should be done by this weekend. I think it will have just enough juice to squeak past 1.2 bill
