Iron Man The Iron Monger thread....what did you think overall?

Iron Monger was awesome and at that point in the film, it really felt like a natural step for Obadiah Stane to take. They did a good job with that.

I really liked Iron Monger.

The suit looked great, i just found it a bit silly that Stane thought he he could benefit the company by getting in it and nearly killing a few people.

He got in the suit and hid - remember? Pepper discovered him hiding in a corner. Only when he was discovered did he try and kill everyone sent after him.

After that, it all spiraled out of control especially with Iron Man showing up.

Stane never intended to jump into the suit and start wreaking havoc.

I agree. I think he was primarily thinking of using it as a get away vehicle once he was outed.

I loved that he was chosen because he is the main villain in the FIRST IRON MAN COMIC I HAVE EVER READ. And I thought they portrayed him greatly.

Stane was terrific.
Iron Monger was a sissy.

I think they did an excellent job on Iron Monger.

I loved Iron Monger. I think his fight scene was better than any of Whiplash's in 2.
