Completely false. Where are your sources ?? Scott and Jean arent born in 65/66. Origins doesnt take place in 81.

Just an average mutant boy wearing glasses. :drl:

Origins does take place in the eighties. It's official.
Apocalypse just says us when.

No it's not official origins takes place in 80's.Kinberg in video interview with yahoo said origins took place in 70's.Besides it's ilrelvent now when the main events of film took place.

The official timeline compiled by FOX and Kinberg placed it in 1987.
"Apocalypse" retcons this. :gngl:

Said that, the events of the Team X are firmly placed in the seventies, thus making the Three Miles Island "fiasco" occurring in the early eighties.

except serious doudts the empire one is official.

Apocalypse retcons that ---- not dramatically, even.
Instead of 1987, Origins will be set in 1981. Before 1983, but still in the eighties.

How many more threads about timeline will you create?
It's your fourth?
PS
Scott wasn't born in 1965. He's 16 in 1983.

Supperhero is convinced that his/her suppositions on the state of the X-Men filmic franchise are gospel even though it's clear that Singer took a Star Trek 2009 approach to DoFP and created an alternate reality that recognized the existence of the previous films whilst also 'clearing the deck' and giving himself and others the creative freedom to do pretty much whatever they want going forward.

I will note that they don't appear to have given a definitive answer as to whether or not this alternate reality erased the events of the previous films from existence entirely or if, as in Star Trek 2009, the previous films do still exist in perpetuity alongside the alternate reality of Apocalypse and everything else that's yet to come, but if you simply take what is presented in DoFP on its face, that film definitely pulled a Star Trek 2009 in creating an alternate reality.

I'm a male.

Kitty's mutant power gives people the chance to alter the timeline. Creating an alternate reality is pointless if you don't change your timeline. The mind comes back into his/her "present time" body and the alteration thus materializes.

It's an altered timeline, NOT an "alternate" timeline.

If you don't like it, don't open it. Goodbye.

Ps: we don't know if he's 16 in 1983.

Isn't Scott born in 1967

When they were casting they were asking for people who could pass for 16 so chances are they are meant to be 16

Scott wasn't born in 1965. He's 16 in 1983.

He is a teen in Apocalypse so we can just suppose he and Jean will be 15/16 like Banshee Havok or Beast in FC.

Its impossible. Adamantium operation and Scott as teenager cant be in 70's!

But beginning of Origins (vietnam war, missions of Team X) tooks place in 70's.

Origins does take place in the eighties. It's official.
Apocalypse just says us when.

Yes it tooks place in 80's just we dont know the exact date :yay:

You're not the definitive arbiter of chronology and continuity for this franchise, even if you'd like to believe otherwise.

Yes sir, you're right. I'm not the arbiter. It's Kinberg. And he placed "Apocalypse" in 1983, along with the 16/17 years old Cyclops. Who also stars in Origins.

The events of Apocalypse don't override what occurred in Origins because the latter occurs in "Universe/Timeline B" and the former occurred in"Universe/Timeline A".

Fanfic.
And even following your Star Trek 2009-like fan fiction interpretation, Scott would still be aprox. 16/17/18 in 1981/1982/1983 in both the universes. NO 1987.

^ Your suppositions are far more fanfiction-ey than my accurate interpretation of what we were presented with.
