No Magneto - he clearly met Wolverine for the first time in X1, and it's not worth throwing that consistency out the window.

Sabretooth, okay - Wolverine met him for the first time in X1, but I'll screw consistency when it's absolutely necessary.

No Juggernaut - even if it didn't screw consistency, he's just not a good addition to the Wolvie movie.

No Lady Deathstrike - Her being a newer addition to Striker's team and Wolvie meeting her for the first time was too played-up in X2 to throw it out the window.

lol. Someone suggested Magneto?

Sabretooth we don't know if he met him for the first time in X1. They hinted a lot that there was some history there that neither of them could remember even if their life depended on it. Sabretooth sensed something though probably thinking "Wait...I had dog tags like these..."

Juggernaut. Nnnnooo. Save him for a scene with Xavier in Magneto or something.

Lady Deathstrike. There's no reason for them not to have known each other before Striker or Striker actually knowing of his relationship with her and using that against him. Wolverine's memory loss is playing a heavy role.

Only Vinnie Jones would want to be in the Wolverine movie. Is his agent on here trying to drum up some interest?

Magneto clearly hadn't met Juggernaut before when he appeared in X3 and Juggernaut's history with Xavier was omitted. Wolverine could have met him the past, but not remembered it because of the memory loss, I suppose. But it all seems like clutching at straws.

Yeah, they didn't mention Juggernaut's relationship to Xavier so they can fill it up pretty much however the hell they want there. I for one see this look into the history of Xavier and Magneto as an opportunity to build it up.

Cassidy.

Remember in Xavier's office, when Logan was making fun of the whole "mutant names" thing? "Sabertooth...? Storm...? What do they call you? Wheels?" Still, it's worth the consistency headache. It's not even much of a headache, anyway: it was only one little line. :cwink:

True dat.

Lady Deathstrike. There's no reason for them not to have known each other before Striker or Striker actually knowing of his relationship with her and using that against him. Wolverine's memory loss is playing a heavy role.
The way Stryker introduced her, "I thought you were special, Wolverine. I was wrong." Logan's knowing absolutely nothing about her powers, as evidenced by his shock at her claws and her quick-healing. It all points to no prior relationship.

Because he has absolutely no memory of it. He barely has any memory of what was done to him and I am talking extremely minimal.

Stryker could have been refering to the people that the adamantium bonding process took to. There's probably a crapload of mutants who either died or were deemed failures (Deadpool was considered a failure...In fact that'd be a good excuse for a cameo from him, even if it is a bit early).

Sabretooth is pretty much self explainatory. They really stressed that Logan has no memory of his past. No Sabretooth, no Yuriko, no anything. Stryker just sticks out the most because he tortured the guy and even then Logan remembers nothing about him except for his name.

I am positive that the same goes for Sabretooth. He didn't seem to recognize Wolverine either but his dogtags interested him.

Ummm Vinnie Jones as the Juggernaut was awesome. IDK Where yall been? LoL Obviously it would have been ******ed to make the Juggernaut as he was in the comics. It would make the movie kind of cheesy b/c it's like ummmm modern day and it's like spotting the "not". What I mean with the "Not" is everything looks somewhat realistic except a guy as tall as a Basketball Goal and Muscles the Size of Boulder. That would be ridicious...It just wouldn't work. I know alot of people wish, but ummmm no it wouldn't match.

Vinnie Jones did quite well and I know lots and lots of people that would "second" that statement. I'd love to see him and Logan to go at it again.

Juggernaut was pretty much perfect. People complained that he was too dumb and joked too much......I am positive that those very same people have never touched an X-men comic with Juggernaut in it.

Truly a good point. If they would've made him as big as he was in the comics, it would've look sooo fake and cheesy. I believe that the cgi work on vinnie jones was great. It perfectly fitted the Juggernaut in a realistic perspective.
