The Koopa Troopa Bias

What's the deal with the Koopa Troopas being depicted as evil, bad animals? They're just independent contractors! They got families to feed too. You'd work for Bowser if it paid well.

If you've played the Paper Mario series you'd know that not all Koopa Troopas and Goombas are bad guys. There are a lot of them who are happy and peaceful citizens of the Mushroom Kingdom.

The koopa troopas you stomp on in Mario games are all soldiers. Hence the "troopa" title. They're troops. They knew the risks when they joined Bowser's army.

Before the cartoon and later games, they just appeared to be a hive mind type of thing, shock troops that had these vacant stares that just marched back and forth in the levels, showing no signs of personality.

Goombas are a different Species that Evolved from Fungi, Toads are squishy people that wear Mushroom hats (And are also Fun guys, but not Fungi)

Ya? Well op, I bet you haven't seen a platoon of Goomba's ethnically cleanse a village of Toadstools have you?!? That sound....first you hear slight scuffing sounds in the distanst, like the sound of a mashmellow scraping on a chalkboard, then a few sounds akin to a fatty grunt, by the time you hear one of them say "Men, turn sideways and shuffle!", it's too late.

They rape our land to put up their castle's! They steal our midgets, dress them in drag and make them dance for Bowser! Mock them all you want, apologize and sympathyse with them, but one day they'll come for you and your kids. They'll walk over you in a neatly formed straight line moving at 1 mile per hour, it won't kill you but damn if it doesn't feel iritating.
