Will be queued behind Green Lantern first flight, Crisis on 2 earths and all the other stuff I've been meaning to buy...
I hope there are more cartoons that surprise me, I can't watch old amazing 90s(and early 2000s) cartoons forever!![]()
Doc Ock said:I got the collectors edition the day it came out!But it only is the normal book one packaged in a big cardboard box.
But it looks cool! I personally don't care if their is a Blu-Ray or not, I don't think 2D animated series really need a Blu-Ray release.
Was there a twist?
I'll wait until the Rifftrax. I'm sure it'll be a hoot.
In the meantime, I have a question. I hear that it's implied in the film that it's a post-apocalyptic earth. I've watched every episode of the series and I never got that impression. Is that from the show, or is it yet another thing that M. Night pulled out of his ass?
I am a little taken back by the fact that some of you "adults" are taking a CHILDRENS cartoon so serioiusly.
This wasn't meant for you. You keep saying the fans. The children are supposed to be the fans. This isn't meant for grown ass men. Most children seemed to like it. The actual demographic that this was intended for. I gotta say I think some of you need to either realise that at the end of the day this is for children & just enjoy watching it for what it is. Or not watch it, enjoy the cartoon, & ignore the movies.
Either way I really think some of you need stop worrying about the fate of a childrens cartoon, & maybe consider growing up a little bit. I know that seems harsh. I am just speaking my mind.
Wait... what? The world is supposed to be post-apocalyptic? Why?
These points were also a part of the show, and now that I think about it, why didn't they just kill the last airbender to break the element cycle?! and the thing about the entering the spirit world occurred very similarly to the show, like I said. The first time was by accident when he went to save Sokka from that forrest spirit, Kobi I think. The next time I think was at the North pole when he went to see Koh about the water and moon spirits. It just sort of happened, him sitting there concentrating and looking at the fish. After a while, Aang could enter and exit the spirit world, and his avatar past lives, at will. It was something that had to be learned slowly.-If the firenation killed all the airbenders in hopes of killing the Avatar at the same time why does Zhao tell Aang that there's no point in him being killed b/c he'll just be reborn? By killing Aang isn't that the end of the avatar cycle?
-Why does Aang need to meditate to enter the spirit world the third time around when he didn't need to the first two times? It doesn't seem consistent.
