You said you didn't play either of the Redemption games. I'm telling you regardless of the fact that it is open world, it is the greatest graphical achievement on a console. It outdid everything before and after it thus far the way I see it. And with everything I've seen for Tlou2, it does not reach RD3's bar even though it's another graphical showpiece.

I didn't play RDR2, but I watched various videos on scenery, physics, detail and so on. And devil is in details. The only area where TLOU2 seems inferior is just it doesn't have variety of dynamic day-night cycle and dynamic weather. Everything else is comparable or superior. The leaks have stuff with dramatic light similar to Tsushima or RDR2. Water effects are superior. Character models and even horses are superior... TLOU2 packs so much attention to detail. And looking at concept art, we have a lot to see yet.

RD3 is one of those games where I have to say watching Youtube videos is not enough. Having played it on a 4K OLED TV on Ps4 pro, I can definitely say you have to experience the game for yourself to see how serious the graphical fidelity is.

Tlou2 isn't out yet, but just going off of Youtube, while it is the usual ND graphical greatness, I don't think it beats RD3.

well for me when going off of just Youtube, I still think RD3 is the better looking game. But I've also played it myself since the game is available.

We have no choice but to go off of Youtube for tlou2, and from what I can tell, I don't think the graphics there are as good as RD3

Went through articles and videos, they basically describe one 2-hour segment of a game, that was in the promos. Turns out, E3 2018 demo and State of Play demo - parts of said sequence. Other than that, they describe some mechanics and stuff that weren't in the promos, it seems impressions are allowed only on gameplay part. So far everyone is praising it.

Playing TLOU 1, Uncharted 4 and RDR 2 on my regular PS4 makes it sound like a rocket launch. This game will probably blow it up entirely

I only experienced the heat issue once when there was plastic around the console (and I was unaware that it would lead to it) and I was out of my room when it started making noise. I panicked and I thought it was gonna explode or something.

And sometimes my ps4 would make some noise, but the noise from my fan always drowns it out.

I admit, this game makes me moody. I care far too much about it.

It looks so good, and it comes from a studio that has made three of my favorite games. I definitely want to love this and I hope I will.

So apparently the cover of True Faith from the Last of Us 2 TV spot was a version they took from someone online. They probably won't get in trouble. It is a New Order song after all, but that is kind of interesting. Got to give them credit for using New Order at least.

If they used the arrangement, I think it would be nice to acknowledge it. For example, in credits roll to the game, if this song is used in the game as well.

Though I don't know how copyright works and I have no idea if the singer has a case. Just going from courtesy perspective. They most likely paid to New Order for the song.

Can't say I'm a fan of the cover (too tranquil for my liking), but New Order version is a blast.

Speaking of sad songs... I wonder if Ellie will have anything more upbeat, or all songs that you perform in the game are Gloom McSadface.
