:)

There was, but it was only after you beat the game the first time in the European/HD releases.

So far all the details sounds really great and ND has proven again and again they can deliver the goods. I like that ND is going with the protagonist not having regenerative health but will have to rely on health packs, in order to avoid confrontation as much as possible. And that you'll encounter more human scavengers rather than the infected. So stoked for this.

I'm a little bummed that the girl isn't the main character, it would have been interesting. Add Joel to the seemingly never ending list of middle-age brown haired white guys we play as in ever game ever.

Better that than being another character with a buzz cut.

thats probably for the best. From a gameplay standpoint, there's things that an older male character can do that a teenage girl cant. Im sure thats where they are going with it.

Do you guys think there will be moral decisions in the game? Maybe they could affect the story somewhat.

I don't think so. Naughty Dog's strength is telling a tightly written story that they want the player to experience.

You guys need to read the Game Informer article if you get the chance. It got me more pumped for this game.

More screens.

The Last of Us: Naughty Dog's Infected Bust

With Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception behind it (with the exception, perhaps, of some DLC), Sony-owned developer Naughty Dog is currently hard at work on its newest title, the PlayStation 3-exclusive post-apocalyptic title The Last of Us.

In The Last of Us, characters Joel and Ellie are endlessly stalked not only by fellow survivors, but by foes severely altered by a fungal infection. Aptly called The Infected, these enemies are truly horrifying, and we've never been given a really solid, still-frame look at what these creatures look like... well, until now, that is.

Tweets went out today from Naughty Dog Co-Presidents Christophe Balestra and Evan Wells showing off a bust of an Infected that Naughty Dog commissioned. You can take a look at the four pictures the co-presidents Tweeted to the public below.

Disgusting.
I'm not interested in these infected people, to be honest.

That is so frickin' awesome. Coolest zombie/monster design I've seen in a while.

Looking at it sends chills down my spine... I like it.

Wow...I'm usually never grossed out by things but damn, that is truly disturbing!
