The Leader + another villain has to be next.

So The Leader is a given in the next film after last night's showing. Though, with given how action-packed the film was last night, the sequel will have to be on par so there has to be another villain/lackey thrown in there to have the Leader ordering around.

Ideas would be.

The Leader + Mad Man = Brothers who team together to kick Hulk's ass.

The Leader + Abomination = The Leader would somehow get him freed after the potential arrest after his beating from the Hulk and use his vendetta against the Hulk.

The Leader + Rhino = If Rhino is free game in terms of licensing, then I'd for sure use him if the chance was provided. It would provide a new villain that has some notierity and can go toe-to-toe against the Hulk.

The Leader + Wendigo (+ Abomination surprise twist at the end)= If this was the option, then I wouldn't have Wendigo as a lacky but as the first villain in the film that the Hulk crosses path with in the wild. Then when Banner comes back to society, he would match agaisnt The Leader. Abomination would show up at the end and take Betsy for a climatic third film of the trilogy where he kills her.

Anyway, wanted to throw these ideas out there since they have been lingering since the conclusion of the film last night.

You could always do it as a mind-control movie. Hulk controlled by The Leader, does bad things, friends help him clear his name etc.

Hmm, I honestly think the Leader could stand on his own. It would be totally badass if like he used mind control powers against the Hulk. That could be some strong material

Frankly, Leterrier has a very practical mind behind the characters and I fully predict that since the Leader is named "the Leader" he'll have the power of mind control, which he did have at some point in the comics.

I suspect there will be a reference to the children's game, "Follow the leader." It just seems the way Marvel is doing supervillain names now.

Blonsky is called an Abomination, Obadiah Stane calls himself (and Tony) Iron Mongers. I really think thats how it will go down.

Further, I'd like to see the Leader bust Blonsky out of whatever prison SHIELD cooks up, and further mutate him so that he looks more like his comic version.

I think that the Leader will want the Hulk as a pure source of gamma goodness and hunt him down so that he can further enhance himself and experiment.

I wouldnt mind seeing Rhino in a future sequel, but Spidey is HARDLY running low on adversaries to battle in upcoming sequels.

The Lizard, Electro, Kraven, Mysterio, Scorpion, Shocker, Vulture ... ect ect.

Actually, I'd like it if they reached a little further and instead did Leader + A villain from ANOTHER hero's rogue's gallery. Crossover's don't have to be limited just to the heroes, you know. Something like Leader one of the Frost Giants or something would be cool.

Agreed. The Leader, his humanoids, and various super-weapons should be all we need for a sequel.

I am so psyched for the sequel. I think the Hulk vs. The Leader and other gamma ray mutants would be great to see. I could see the abomination returning though.

I could see Bi-Beast working. Otherwise, a Leader and Abomination teamup sounds good. Leader I feel would be too easy to get rid of (mind control powers or not) Hulk would need another opponent, thus I said I'd bring Abomination back and have him more skeletal, spiky, and pissed off.

Otherwise, I thought about maybe having S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Gabriel Jones working with General Ross. Gargoyle and Sasquatch wouldn't be bad villains either.

The Leader would be really great to see! My question is this though, with most villains we need a motive! Why would Leader want the Hulk? For experiments? Also would we want Ross teaming with Leader?

Very good idea. In fact, since he needs a reason to be called "Leader," he should lead a Gamma Corps-type group of gamma-irradiated monsters, and you can throw in Bi-beast and his brother, Madman and Abomination. Hmm, only problem, is Hulk would get his green butt handed to him....

also, i agree, maybe leader tries to strengthen abomb, and infuses him with reptilian/fish genes. so he looks more like the comic.
Cos we clearly see the direction LL is taking with the hulk.
There's just no epic fight between Hulk and Leader.

Since Madman is the Leader's brother, there's a twisted story that could be worked up. From the movie, we learn

That Sterns doesn't really care about his wellbeing and possibly by extension, the wellbeing of others. His curiosity could lead him to experiment off of his own brother, since there'd be no cheaper human test subject out there.

. I'd like to see Absorbing Man revisited and the Wendigo character sounds interesting too.

The mind control idea is awesome. Enter Betty with the help of a young kid call Rick , and the plot unfolds. I would guess Betty, and Rick, would go and look for help from the Stark Corp, enter War Machine. Battle breaks out and WM manages to break the Hulk from the mind control. Hulk is MAD as hell and goes after the Leader, but he, Leader, has an Ace up his sleeve, so two Villains come out; take your pick. New massive battle "the likes the Gods have never seen". My two End Villains would be Rhino and Abom since they both fought Hulk at the same time in the comics. I hope LL is reading this Forum.

Madman, Leader, and Abomination work. We don't need the Gamma Corps, U-Foes, or a clan of gamma-radiated freaks and monsters. I think though if we're continuing the so-called 'test subjects' you could have Glob and Ravage. Glob you could have be either be criminal Joe Timms who like the comics: was once a petty criminal who loved his wife. After being arrested and jailed, he learned that she was dying. Desperate to be reunited with her, he sought early release. When this was denied, he escaped. Instead of fleeing to the Florida Everglades, he could've been a 'test' for Sterns and thus works with him. (I know not the best idea.)

Otherwise, I would want Abomination to break out of the military's captivity; realizes he can never go back to Emil Blonsky or to his former life or see his wife again, so he vows revenge on Bruce Banner/Hulk but also for General Ross. Teaming up with The Leader and his brother Madman, the three would be an unstoppable force and Hulk would then need help from Doc Samson.

One of my ideas would be that The Leader would control The Hulks mind while Iron Man comes helping the hulk fight the leader but in the last 20-30 minutes of the film has to fight the Hulk and in the last 15-10 minutes of the fight the Hulk and Iron Man take on the Leader
