We warned you. Your insolence would not go unpunished. Blame Bamfer, he told us to bring it, and it's been 'brung'.

Superhero Hype, You Just Got Served. :cmad:

All Hail The Thread Overlord!:hrt::awesome:

Hail The Thread Overlord! Cut off one limb and two more shall take its place!

Ok, I gotta ask: what exactly happened and what did Threadmanager (whoever that is) do?

What is all this threadmanager hubbub? *in batman voice*: "Answer to MEEE!"

Mirko has added a feature to the forum called Thread Manager. Every time a thread reaches 1,000 posts, it leaps in like a deformed inbred bat out of the dankest corner of Hell, closes the thread, and starts a new one.

I just hate how there's gonna be "Part 3,148" on every single thread. :(

Actually it is pod bay. Don't make me doubt myself.:down

Ok... so I don't get the subtext of 2001, thats representing the sun right...???

Yes, all Hail the ruler of the Hype.

I really don't like this new change. Someone destroy ThreadManager. :cmad::o

If you continue in this obscene fashion, the post count will be lowered further. You have been warned.:yay:

Kneel before your Overlord!

He was making a 2001:A SPACE ODYSSEY reference.

No wonder I didn't catch the reference. I've been trying desperately to repress all memories of seeing that movie.

Nope...that's HAL the computer.

That's a shame.

The first time I watched it and it was the black screen I thought my Blu-ray player was spoilt -.-

You hated 2001, Manic?

Yep. I like movies with well developed plots and characters, not 2 1/2 hours of visual effects (however innovative) set to either music or silence. Yes, it was a very pretty movie. Yes, Kubrick revolutionized how all future films would depict space flight. What he didn't set out to do, however, was tell a proper story. We got a MacGuffin, and the characters (and I use that term loosely for everyone except for HAL) were emotionlessly motivated purely by their desire to reach Jupiter. Everything that happened in that movie was an excuse for Kubrick to show off new visual effects. I've seen four films by the man, and 2001 is the only one I hated.

Just got mah two t- shirts from Last Exit To Nowhere... They be sexy yo!
