Pirates 4 was just dull. Pirates 2 and 3 were messes but at least there were exciting messes.

I know and his actual native ancestry seems very suspect as well. If his great grandmother or whatever really was native american there would be documentation.

It's just the fact that they're going to facial prosthetics now to make him look more native shows how far things are going with this.

It's not even all about the PC element of pretending to be native but this could have been a good role for a real native actor.
I think adam beach is a great actor and he hardly gets any roles anymore:

Trust me people would be up in arms if a white actor was cast in a famous black character role.

They said during production that Gore had a train built from scratch, and that's part of the mega-budget.

But there's plenty of working 19th century steam locomotives -- some authentic and some replicas -- out there on the tracks today he could have used. There's a tourist train that comes through here every weekend that dates to 1875.

A nose prosthetic? Really?

We will see if it bombs. I think the chances are high, but it already looks far better then something like Prince of Persia, which just didn't look like it was a serious attempt at making a good film.

And why or why not Beach gets cast in other films is completely irrelevant to this movie.

I don't understand why people complain about Depp doing what every actor, director or producer would love to do. Make the films they want. He wants to play Tonto in a $250 million dollar production of the Lone Ranger and he is doing it. That is the dream.

the train was build for a movie production. its was created for action,for filming the actors,bla bla bla bla.

in a 200 million budget movie a custom train is the problem?
